What You'll Do

  • High-energy, detail oriented individual with operations experience that will conduct alignment across the Americas delivery team and the global WPR functions as we deliver Workplace Services.
  • Works independently, with occasional guidance and direction from leader, before determining the best approach to accomplish work.
  • Acts as a resource for Workplace Team Lead, theater peers and global colleagues and leaders in WPR.
  • Solves complex problems and takes a broad perspective to identify innovative solutions.
  • Applies expert knowledge to resolve friction impacting entire WPR team members.
  • Able to research, plan, prioritize, translate strategy and understand tactical delivery model.
  • Adept at conflict management and knowledgeable in interpersonal development.
  • Work to understand WPR deliverables, standards, and operational processes/workflows (attend meetings, ask good clarifying questions, document understanding to facilitate process improvement).
  • Simplify and streamline WPR processes by identifying process improvements to drive speed and efficiency into standard practices.
  • Partner with corporate functions (IT, Corp Security, HR, Finance, Comms) to identify operational alignments to drive the client workplace experience.
  • Develop programs and initiatives for campus operational improvement by identifying common issues across the theater and strategize on implementation of programs and initiatives to resolve issues as a team.
  • Identify approach to planning and development to strategize on organizational structure to maximize the quality and efficiency of deliverables.
  • Development a plan for the career growth of team members, including stretch assignments, job swaps, and align individual team member goals and career trajectories with opportunities across internal organization and Cisco.
  • Build and maintain a framework for important metric analysis and determine the most important metrics to focus on, to drive operational improvement, handle and track building health, and track performance against critical metrics; analyze patterns in available data to surface opportunities to take actions to improve the workplace experience for clients.
  • Build and maintain client intel by capturing key performance indicators and other relevant data points to be shared quarterly with key clients and partners.
  • Organize staff meetings by working with leader and team to develop agenda, coordinate guest speakers, document and publish minutes, track and follow up on action items.
  • Drive campus programs and initiatives by driving a matrixed team of theater and global peers in supporting implementation, documentation and communicating successes.
  • Plan success celebrations & lead post-mortems by working with the team to document takeaways and implementing needed changes into processes and workflows.
  • Develop and gather content for theater communications inclusive of colleting the stories, successes, etc. and feeding into planned WPR communications.
  • Share data and standard methodologies with other Chiefs of Staff by meet with peers across Workplace Resources and operations.

Who You'll Work With

You'll be in a highly visible and business impacting role. You will engage directly with the theater director, workplace team lead, theater peers and WPR leadership.

Who You Are

You love to continuously learn and share your knowledge with the broader team. You have led and aligned executives to drive a common prioritization process and lead large programs including transformation programs focused on digitization, process, and roles. In addition, you will use your extensive industry experience and strong background to lead cross-functional and distributed team collaboration.

  • You will be very proficient in the following software tools: Microsoft Project, Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
  • You have advanced communication and presentation skills in addition to internal event management experience.
  • Ideally, you have a demonstrated knowledge of supplier management.
  • Other skills include business sense and judgment; independence; assertive; conclusive; strong communications (written and verbal); ability to clarify ambiguity; personable; multi-tasker; change and partner management.
  • Knowledge of Cisco functions, processes and capabilities strongly preferred and experience with metrics and Scorecards.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 10+ years related experience, process improvement experience
  • BA or BS in Finance, Business Administration or similar
  • Onsite in San Jose Office is a requirement
