WPR Business Architect Program Manager

What Youll Do


Workplace Resources delivers workplace experiences to Cisco employees and optimizes company working capital, at scale, and with a focus on efficiency and business outcomes.


We are seeking a highly motivated Business Architect Program Manager to join the Governance & Vendor Management team. You will be part of a highly impactful and dynamic organization collaborating with multi-functional teams and suppliers to increase business resiliency and reduce functional risk across WPRs operations.


We work closely with WPRs regional delivery teams, global specialist functions and third-party suppliers to establish and implement sound business standards that protect people, assets, and investments.


Your Responsibilities

  • Design and implement a business architecture that transforms WPR business operations, based on a deep understanding of its business imperatives and compliance requirements.
  • Develop business process mapping and documentation.
  • Support reengineering efforts to enable workforce productivity and drive efficiency.
  • Conduct business process modeling and document as-is and to-be models.
  • Identify functional interdependencies and cross-silo duplications that may exist in role alignment, process gaps and overlaps and business capability maturity gaps.
  • Actively identify and participate in the resolution of sophisticated problems that impact the effectiveness of the business.
  • Lead complex projects of diverse scope where analysis requires an understanding of business trends.
  • Drive value, compliance, and continuous improvement in all elements.
  • Support and advise WPR functions on business architecture standard methodology.

Who Youll Work With


Youll report directly to the Global Compliance & Controls Leader within Workplace Resources and work closely with your peers and WPRs global service professionals & regional delivery teams. Our team focuses is to drive innovation and outstanding solutions for Cisco; to accomplish this you will work across Cisco and WPR. We work with a team of hardworking and highly motivated functional leaders, service specialists, business partners and collaborate with a cross-functional network of professionals across the organization.

You possess a combination of business experience, good interpersonal and written communication relationship building skills, arent intimidated by titles and can work with people toward a shared goal. Youre dedicated to developing a viewpoint, challenging the status quo, and making recommendations in straightforward business terms.


You possess a real passion for building trusted relationships through an influence-led approach; you work with internal and external partners to understand connections across many initiatives within the organization. You lead change and build dynamic teams to address opportunities. Comfortable working in a technical environment and converting complex concepts to concise, easy-to-understand language.


Qualifications

  • Proven ability to optimally collaborate to accomplish assignments with minimal direction, including strong capacity to partner, work horizontally and bring multiple resources together to accomplish shared goals.
  • Ability to develop trusted relationships and influence broadly (up, down, across) in order to reach the best possible outcome for Cisco.
  • Courage to voice an alternative point of view when in a room of senior leaders.
  • Curiosity to learn what industry is doing and bringing the best ideas into Cisco.
  • Shown program/project management skills, including excellent verbal and written communications, facilitation, problem-solving, analytical, and presentation abilities.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to lead multiple projects and partners simultaneously.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and ability to navigate organizations and people through large-scale change.
  • 7+ years of work experience in Business Analysis, Business Process, and Business Architecture; experience conducting requirements analysis, and developing functional specifications, process flows, use cases, and journey maps.
  • BA/BS, MBA preferred.
  • Six-Sigma Black Belt or Lean Black Belt or CBA or Agile certification is required.
