This role will be accountable to shape and deliver the global strategy for protecting babies, the most vulnerable of us all. This includes Prevnar 13 Pediatrics, the most successful vaccine on the market, which brings in approximately $3.5B in annual revenue. The role also includes the launch Prevnar Next Generation Pediatrics (PCV20), the next step in the journey for one of Pfizer's flagship products, replacing Prevenar 13 as the gold standard. This individual will lead the Glocal Team, partnering seamlessly with other markets to co-create a plan that will bring PCV20 to babies who need it faster than ever before. Lastly, this individual leads the NIP/Tendering function which is critical for the maintenance of our ex-US contracts for all assets across the Vaccines portfolio. This role is a great opportunity for a strong leader to shape and define the strategies for one of Pfizer's most important assets, improving population health one baby at a time.


+ Lead the team and co-create the global commercial strategies for PCV20 and Prevenar 13 Pediatric, positioning Pfizer for success despite a new competitor's predicted earlier launch

+ Co-create and model launch excellence for one of Pfizer's 25 by 2025 launches (PCV20 Pediatric), transitioning existing markets from Prevnar 13 or competitors and gaining access to new markets

+ Lead the development of forecasts, plans, strategies and operational commitments (Op Plan) to ensure adequate supply and delivery

+ Lead the preparation of a successful evidence-based, patients first strategies to successfully differentiate and defend against competitors

+ Lead the PCV20 and Prevnar 13 Pediatric Glocal Core team by providing commercial leadership, strategic guidance, and innovative approaches to ensuring full maximization of each vaccine's potential in the pediatric space

+ Lead the NIP/Tendering team, creating new opportunities to capture and retain more of the Vaccines market globally across all assets

+ Build a high performing team through the ability to attract, engage, coach and develop the best talent while modeling our Values of Courage, Excellence, Equity and Joy

+ Collaborate and provide thought leadership within the team but also across the Vaccines business on innovative models to enhance our growth opportunities

+ Develop and maintain strong relationships with all key regions and functions, including but not limited to medical, research, PGS, legal, finance, and regulatory.

+ Participate and contribute as an active, enterprise leader in both the New Era and Reimagine Vaccines Leadership Teams


+ Minimum 10 years of successful marketing/commercial experience in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably at the global and local levels

+ Demonstrated strategic marketing and analytical thinking skills

+ Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams through setting a common vision and purpose, influence and persuasion

+ An absolute commitment to adherence to all applicable compliance rules and regulations

+ Demonstrated ability to effectively work on multiple tasks with a strong sense of urgency and enthusiasm while prioritizing and meeting team goals

+ Demonstrated ability to effectively lead others through times of change

+ Bachelor's degree required

+ Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.


+ MBA or other advanced degree preferred

+ Prior launch experience highly desired

+ Experience with the US market is highly preferred

+ Vaccines experience preferred, but not required

+ Experience in working successfully in a highly competitive environment strongly desired


Ability to travel approximately 30% of the time
