Primary Responsibilities:

  • Maintain strategic oversight of sales and account management for the Key Accounts function
  • ""
  • Accountable for all sales/account management related functions to include product development, sales operations, RFP process, proposal content, broker/client communication, client/broker events, ensuring compliance with local, state and federal regulations
  • ""
  • Provide oversight, guidance and strategic direction to sales leadership team
  • ""
  • Represent UnitedHealthcare to brokers, consultants, clients, regulators, politicians and others in the community
  • ""
  • Responsible to prepare business plans, forecasts, budgets and track results working with CFO and CEO
  • ""
  • Outline initiatives and ensure execution to achieve departmental goals
  • ""
  • Identify talent and opportunities for development
  • ""
  • Prepare and presents business results and strategies to local and senior leadership
  • ""
  • Develop and transform strategies to ensure net growth, profitability, NPS, persistency, ancillary and NBEA goals are met
  • ""
  • Oversee the producer appointment process ensuring compliance with Department of Insurance along with the market distribution strategy for all lines of business
  • ""
  • Create and manages long term vision for sales/account management team to drive sustainable results
  • ""
  • Maintain working knowledge of products, network, competitiveness in market and executes on areas of opportunity

Required Qualifications:

    ""
  • 15+ years of sales experience in healthcare required; in theinsurance industry strongly preferred
  • ""
  • 10+ years of experience working with brokers/consultants
  • ""
  • 10+ years experience meeting sales goals / targets
  • ""
  • 10+years experience using data analysis to drive change
  • ""
  • 5+ years people management experience
  • ""
  • 5+ years proficiency in Microsoft suite to include, word, excel, PowerPoint
  • ""
  • Sales Insurance License Maintained by Law
  • ""
  • Willingness to travel as required
  • ""
