This individual will lead the Behavioral Health marketing team and will be responsible for B2B, B2C, and provider marketing for the Behavioral Health and EAP product lines. Leading a team of product marketers, this individual will develop and implement marketing plans and campaigns to help enable B2B sales, grow the provider network, and drive consumer enrollment and engagement. Reporting to the SVP, Head of Product Marketing for OptumHealth, this role will serve as key leader for both the Product Marketing team and the Behavioral Health business.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with Behavioral Health business leaders to develop and execute integrated marketing plans that directly support the Behavioral Health growth agenda; a core responsibility for this position is to facilitate a collaborative process to ensure marketing strategies are aligned, prioritized, and focused on the greatest opportunities to drive engagement and profitable growth
  • Drive the annual and quarterly integrated product marketing planning process for the Behavioral Health product suite; provide strategic and tactical support to package, position and promote innovative capabilities that differentiate Optum's Behavioral Health network from competitors in all markets; proactively assume responsibility for leading and executing on strategic initiatives and projects, responding to requests, and serving as a key contact for Behavioral Health business and Product Marketing
  • Advance the Product Marketing analytical agenda by working to deliver financial metrics for all marketing initiatives; work with business partners to understand product-level economics and track marketing expenses so that Return on Marketing Investment can be calculated; develop and optimize A/B testing strategies to assess marketing impact; ensure necessary reporting is in place to track and measure activity, engagement, and financial metrics
  • Develop and manage the appropriate level of resource investment to meet campaign objectives, goals and budget; accountable for driving to target outcomes within identified budget    
  • Drives alignment across OptumHealth business units and shared service partners to create better coordination with business partners across Optum, UHG and related functional areas
  • Develop and/or support differentiated and compelling value propositions for the Behavioral Health product suite that clearly articulates the unique benefits to target audiences; guide future offerings to strengthen our value proposition and expand market share
  • Direct others to resolve business problems that affect multiple functions or disciplines
  • Maintain a deep understanding of product portfolio, value-proposition, and business unit readiness for market execution
