Vice President, Marketing & Sales Distribution Center, North America

Day to day you will:

 

Manage the Marketing and Sales Distribution Center

  • Manage the team to identify and qualify sales opportunities consistent with the strategy and targets defined in segment Go-to-Market strategy.
  • Oversee the teams development of a strong pipeline of target opportunities according to sales objectives, together with Segment Marketing & Strategy teams.
  • Oversee Profit and Loss activity of the Marketing and Sales Distribution Center
  • Manage executive leadership expectations across North American operations.
  • Oversee and implement all new methods of sales efficiency, enablement and training for digital marketing and inside sales teams.
  • Direct and manage inside sales team performance on a daily basis.
  • Conduct all quarterly business reviews with the inside sales teams and hold all roles accountable to quotas and performance metrics.
  • Set monthly, quarterly and annual performance targets for marketing qualified leads, lead response time, number of sales qualified leads, number of converted opportunities, website lead capture.
  • Manage and run all marketing tech stack using Pardot and Salesforce.com
  • Create all dashboards for KPI tracking and reporting in Salesforce.com
  • Develop and maintain deep knowledge of Sodexo service capabilities and prospect needs.

Develop and Deliver Growth Objectives with Segment Leadership

 

  • Create quarterly and annual strategic plans complete with target accounts, objectives and quotas.
  • Manage Inside Sales teams to build and sustain strong partnership with respective Field Sales Representatives and align on next steps with calls, print, skype, etc.
  • Provide Field Sales with tangible insights and redirect prospects (based on evaluation matrix) to Field Sales (~5 to 10 leads / month, with dollar values aligned with Field Sales targets in respective Segments).
  • Accurately capture and report key aspects of account and opportunity information (including calendar of communications) within sales force automation (SFA) application and/or CRM and ensure contact data integrity.

  • Proven experience managing digital marketing, demand generation and inside sales from a senior leadership position.
  • Previous experience working in highly matrixed organizations amongst geographies, product segments, buyer segments and product divisions in large organizations.
  • 10 years+ in Senior Sales/Marketing/Digital/Inside Sales leadership role.
  • Previous track record of over-achieving all targets.
  • Ability to initiate and nurture collaborative relationships with field sales team member
  • Excellent verbal, written, communications and presentation skills
  • Full proficiency of pipeline management and dashboards within salesforce.com

  •  5 years+ experience working with Salesforce.com, Marketing Automation and Sales Intelligence tools
  • An expert in Social Selling
  • A defined leader in sales efficiency, productivity and marketing automation through posts/blogs/speaking events on LinkedIn.
  • 8+ years successful track record selling enterprise services
  • Strong organizational, planning and problem skills

Position Summary

The leader of our North American Marketing and Sales Distribution Center (MSDC) will oversee, drive, and be responsible for the implementation of the new model. Their primary responsibility will be to manage the MSDC responsible for all marketing and content coordination, digital, demand generation, lead qualification and inside selling activities including the management of the CRM. This person will run the center from a profit and loss standpoint and be responsible to the Sodexo HQ leadership globally, as well as in North America for all numbers, return on investment, spend, forecasts, dashboards and executive reports. This persons team will be assigned a quarterly lead and sales quota which they must attain. This person will be a key member of the North America sales and marketing leadership teams with executive interaction on a daily basis to initiate all new tenants of our digital transformation. The leader will interface between North American leadership and the executive teams Global HQ.The leader is responsible for significantly growing market share and manage the digital marketing and inside sales teams, including the ownership of the CRM for the region. The inside sales teams manage internal communications (phone, email, social, and web conference) to present possible solutions, expand the web of influence, qualify leads for the field salesforce and occasionally close revenue directly. The leader will also oversee, own and manage the digital marketing resources in North America including creative services, website coordination, demand generation, SEO, branding, event marketing and other services to drive value into new and existing customers, and even close sales. Accurate revenue forecasting is key to success in this role.
