Providing a fresh vision for Digital Transformation, the Vice President of Cloud and Application Services will apply experience and expertise in cloud technologies to:

  • Enhance and manage Perspectas cloud and applications services strategy
  • Partner with world class business and engineering leaders to deliver the next generation cloud platform and products, leveraging public clouds such as Amazon AWS, and Microsoft Azure, to provide transformational and reliable cloud services to our enterprise customers
  • Represent Perspecta as a thought leader for cloud and application services with customers and industry groups

  • Collaborate with Perspectas senior Business Group and functional leaders to define and execute our cloud and application services strategy
  • Develop repeatable and scalable processes and technical collateral for the cloud and applications services portfolio. Address key aspects of cloud adoption to include development, life cycle management, data security, enterprise management, governance, and more.
  • Optimize and deliver a Business-aligned roadmap and the cloud managed services and product portfolio that is relevant, differentiated, competitive and integrated to support existing programs and new business pursuits.
  • Provide oversight of harvesting, adopting, adapting and developing cloud and applications services offerings. Leverage partnerships for innovation and delivery speed
  • Contribute to achieving revenue and delivery excellence objectives.
  • Identify and bring technology opportunities to the organization, to include partnerships and M&A
  • Communicate cloud value proposition to range of audiences, including executive management, cross-functional teams, clients and other relevant stakeholders
  • Act as cloud promoter for the value it brings the business. Understand how cloud works with business and impacts various levels of organization.
  • Guide with knowledge. Share vision for roadmap and application selection while noting risks and optimization opportunities.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentoring and coaching for all staff and foster a culture of achievement, collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Build, grow, and mentor a world-class team
  • Advises on enterprise wide growth strategies and initiatives aimed at differentiation of services and delivery, enhanced margins, increased competitiveness, and industry thought leadership.



  • 15+ years of progressive experience and deep SME knowledge in Enterprise IT and cloud technology: infrastructure, applications, architecture, platforms, best practices for integration, microservices, and DevOps
  • Deep SME knowledge in cloud managed services offerings and operations
  • Public Sector (Civilian, DoD, Intelligence Community) experience
  • Proven management, leadership, and new business experience with ownership over large-scale initiatives a must.
  • Demonstrated expertise and experience in cloud architectures cloud migration, cloud security, cloud managed services, application services, agile environments, emerging tech, software design, and more.
  • Understanding of cloud value from business standpoint. Ability to articulate develop cloud strategy, value props and influence tech decision makers
  • In-depth understanding of IT and process implementation and transformation.
  • Experience with private and public cloud infrastructure such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Oracle Cloud. Cloud certifications and public cloud experience a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; comfortable delivering effective decision-based presentations to executive management teams. Collaborative attitude and delivery style.
  • Understanding of commercial pricing, P&L, impact analysis, and business management
  • Ensures achievement of short and long-range objectives, budgets and operating plans of the functional unit
  • Relationships and experience with cloud resellers and solution providers preferred
  • This position must have the ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Security clearance at the appropriate level for the position
