The Advisory Board Research Partner program is the premier Research membership that serves both health system and health industry members. It includes global access to all Advisory Board Research, with additional customized support for each member. These partnerships are long-term, typically lasting 3 to 5 years. Our team is embedded within our members in order to build trusted advisor relationships. We gain knowledge of our members strategies, their operational and organizational strengths and challenges, and use this insight to tailor our research and help them accelerate progress.

The Value Lead will deliver outsized value to key executives at Tier 1 organizations within Advisory Board Research. The Value Lead will thoughtfully architect service plans and research solutions and will drive effective internal collaboration across the Partner team to ensure we are leading with insight-driven thinking and delivering maximum value through these relationships. This thought leader will drive continuous improvement efforts aimed at perfecting our Tier 1 member service strategy.

Primary Responsibilities:

    ""
  • Serve as a senior account owner for 3+ Partner portfolios; Be directly accessible to client executives
  • ""
  • Create, synthesize, and execute on solutions for key member challenges
  • ""
  • Represent the Research account internally in pan-Optum portfolio discussions.
  • ""
  • Deepen and grow key client CXO relationships through thought partnership
  • ""
  • Develop a deep understanding of client executive priorities
  • ""
  • Collaborate with Executive Partner, Advisor, and Associate to deliver exceptional, tailored service that supports executive and organizational needs; Will include minor custom research efforts and creation of presentations or deliverables for members
  • ""
  • Work with terrain level experts to scope research services and ensure integration and coordination with overarching service plan strategy
  • ""
  • Contribute as a thought leader to influence continuous improvement to Partner service delivery approach
  • ""
  • Drive renewal rate inflection by delivering outsized value and supporting future vision setting for continued partnership

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university
  • ""
  • 6+ years of relevant business development, research, and/or consulting delivery experience
  • ""
  • Deep understanding of strategic and operational issues facing hospital and health system executives, and excitement about the opportunity to focus on research and its ability to transform and help shape the health care market
  • ""
  • Demonstrated ability to develop deliverables from scratch, including minor research efforts and/or custom projects
  • ""
  • Ability to travel up to 70%
  • ""

Colorado Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $94,500 to $171,700.
