Cox2M delivers end-to-end, groundbreaking solutions to a diverse set of customers in target verticals such as automotive, smart communities and industrial. Be a data-driven leader who thrives in a dynamic, fast paced, and innovative environment, where you will envision, create, and iterate with our dynamic vertical teams to identify and solve key market problems. As Senior UX Researcher, you will coordinate with the customer and internal Cox2M and partner teams to understand and define the customer journey and personas. You will enable the most positive customer experience and value creation by thinking through customer needs, business requirements, and synthesizing research. You will bring your vision to life by creating effective research-based recommendations that can be shared with a variety of internal and external processes.
* Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions * :

* Work with Product Management, Customer Success, and UX Teams to understand the challenges our end users face
* Visit customer sites around the US, conducting contextual research, interviews, surveys, and focus groups to understand customer needs and workflows
* Create research materials for customer interviews and site visits
* Conduct workshops with internal stakeholders to align the team on research methods, research synthesis, etc.
* Translate raw data into understandable and digestible information and next steps, including artifacts such as personas and customer journeys
* Work with stakeholders to make recommendations for the customer experience that are backed by research data
* Contribute to team standards for quality and effective research
* Partner with the Market Intelligence and Product Management teams to assist in developing a strong user-driven roadmap
* Partner with UX Design to translate recommendations from research into prototypes and mockups that meet user needs
* Partner with Product Management and UX Design to test prototypes and mockups with representative users
* Qualifications * :

* 6 years of experience in a related field (e.g. Product Management, Customer Success, UX Testing etc.); or a BS/BA degree in a related discipline (e.g. Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, etc.) with 2 years of experience in a related field; or MS/MA degree in a related discipline  
* Proven Experience in UX Research (Qualitative and Quantitative methods)
* Ability to translate different types of research (usability studies, heuristic evaluations, A/B testing, user interviews, surveys, etc.) into business implications
* Ability to take requirements and goals and plan necessary research initiatives
* Demonstrated ability to translate research into UX deliverables
* Experience in applying human centered research to digital products
* Continually keep up to date on cutting-edge research methods, theories, and best practices
* Ability to think through customer impact, value drivers, and actionable next steps
* A strong understanding of mental models
* Critical thinking and inquisitive nature
* Understanding and interest of UX best practices and the ability to challenge UX thinking
* Excellent oral, written, and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills
* Attention to detail and follow-through on completion of tasks
* Ability to work well in a highly collaborative and cross-functional team
* Experience working cross-team between UX designers, engineering, and product
* Experience using platforms such as UserTesting, Optimal Workshop, Qualtrics, etc
* Preferred Skills Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, XD), Prototyping Tools (Sketch, Axure, Invision, Figma, etc.)
