Last month Webex helped nearly 600 million people meet, call, message, connect, discuss, and brainstorm. But there's more work to do. How will teams stay connected? How do we get more done with fewer meetings? How do we scale team culture when separated by a screen? 


We're looking for a research manager to help shape the future of collaboration and imagine the workplace of the future by leading a team of 2-4 researchers while also conducting high quality UXR studies.


Who you are: 

  • An experienced, rigorous mixed methods researcher, skilled in both qualitative and quantitative methodologies with 8+ years of experience 
  • A people manager with 2+ years of experience leading inclusive teams, creating a sense of community, establishing psychological safety and supporting a growth mindset among researchers 
  • A mentor and teacher who can nurture the growth and develop the success of your team members
  • An advocate and influencer with proven experience impacting product direction who can drive clarity across multi-disciplinary and cross-functional teams 
  • An empath who understands how a few extra clicks can wreck a worker's productivity and acts as the voice of the user throughout the product development process 
  • A skilled communicator who can navigate people and project dynamics with radical candor and a sense of humor


What you'll do: 

  • Work with product managers and designers to coordinate, conduct, and deliver high quality mixed methods research for a specific project team within the Webex Suite
  • Manage and mentor a diverse, distributed, curious team of UX researchers 
  • Create efficient feedback loops between our customers and product teams using in-depth interviews, concept validation, moderated and unmoderated testing, surveys, behavioral data analysis, and workshops. 
  • Proactively seek out ways to improve the experience of our customers and create new opportunities for our business.
