The Performance Analyst will provides analysis of performance intelligence that drives decision-making and process improvements in the operational execution of our portfolio with a specific focus on clinical trial and regulatory operations processes and quality indicators.

+ Reports accurate, reliable, timely, accessible & actionable information in support of stakeholders in Global Product Development (GPD) to be used in the oversight of clinical or regulatory operational and quality performance.

+ Provides basic or advanced analytics and modeling expertise to enable understanding of our current performance and trends across multiple perspectives including, but not limited to, quality, speed, cost and productivity.

+ Functions as a technical resource for customers, utilizing data / text mining methodology and tools to support the assessment and analysis of clinical or regulatory operational and quality performance.

The major duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

+ Actively works with customers and stakeholders to understand and address their business needs

+ Collects / extracts meaningful information residing in various databases or other data sources by employing data / text mining tools and software required

+ Performs basic to advanced analysis using various analytics tools (e.g. Excel, Alteryx, Pipeline Pilot, R, Python) and visualization tools (e.g. Spotfire, Tableau)

+ Applies basic to advanced statistical approaches in analyzing and converting extensive and complex data into clean and crisp messages for customers and stakeholders

+ Support team members with ad hoc and ongoing analytics and reporting requests.

+ Design, implement and maintain reports (tools, performance dashboards and presentations) for stakeholders to receive consistent updates, integrating intelligence based on analytical findings or via liaising with subject matter experts.

+ Demonstrate attention to detail, QCing and verifying data for accuracy and completeness prior to publishing materials to business stakeholders.


+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent in biological sciences, health sciences, statistics, mathematics, informatics, computer science, engineering, business, etc. Advanced degree is desirable


+ 2+ years of related technical/business experience is preferred

+ A solid understanding of the Microsoft Office suite, with advanced knowledge of Excel, is required

+ Experience with using data processing & analysis techniques/tools (SQL, VBA , Alteryx, Pipeline Pilot, Spotfire, Tableau, etc. ) are preferred

+ Experience in project management / business analysis is desirable

+ Experience in a customer service role with demonstration of meeting customer needs and concerns is preferred


+ Abel to work per established procedures and standards

+ Has an excellent attention to detail and a quality control approach to work

+ Able to apply basic to advanced technical & analytical skills and functional knowledge to achieve assigned work on projects/assignments

+ Able to explore and apply new ideas and knowledge with increasing frequency

+ Able to manage own time to meet agreed targets

+ Develops plans for short-term work activities (timelines, work plans, deliverables) within project/work team

+ Able to work in ambiguous situations as part of a project/work team

+ Able to exercise judgement to resolve problems in complex situations

+ Demonstrates effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written, combined with excellent listening skills

+ Able to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders in a multi-cultural context and a matrix organization

+ Able to present clearly using various communication tools and techniques
