What You'll Do

The Transformation Acceleration (TA) team within the Strategy and Business Acceleration (SBA) organization is responsible for orchestrating the execution of large, complex cross-functional programs for Cisco. The TA team is also leading the build out a scalable change management discipline for all transformational programs, in partnership with the functional teams in OneOps, to achieve adoption goals and change management ROI.

We are looking for an experienced change practitioner to lead the change management office on large transformation programs (such as SaaS Transformation, Annual@Scale, etc.) responsible for defining the overall change management strategy and plan for the transformation. You will work cross-functionally with Cisco program sponsors and execution teams to ensure clear plans for inspiring change and adoption across the lifecycle, to achieve the targeted business outcomes. Another big focus of this role will be to build out, embed, and drive adoption of change management capabilities in partnership with the CM best practices communities.

In this role, you will:

  • Define and lead the comprehensive change management strategy, approach and integrated change management plan for transformational programs.
  • Lead the federated change management office (CMO) for transformation programs.
  • Conduct an initial organizational assessment to determine the position and readiness of the business, and continue to assess readiness through ongoing reviews to facilitate alignment and shift to our end-state definition/outcomes.
  • Understand the significance of the changes (to business process, capabilities, policies, culture) within the functional areas to provide information and recommendations regarding expected organization impacts of the transformation.
  • Lead planning efforts with each of the workstreams to identify the associated change enablement activities.
  • Partner with the workstreams to manage their change plans for all groups impacted to ensure a positive experience and successful transition through the change curve.
  • Define, manage, and oversee the execution of all change management activities and deliverables (integrated into an overall program plan), including but not restricted to: sponsorship alignment, change readiness, stakeholder engagement, communications, training and change sustainability.
  • Define and track metrics to assess the progress and effectiveness of change strategy and processes (e.g. business value delivered and adoption).
  • Facilitate the CM Best Practices Community to define change management capabilities and standards across OneOps transformation programs.
  • Provide CM advisory support to transformational programs in the portfolio.
  • Build out and maintain change management best practices repository.
  • Define and build out training curriculum to drive change management expertise across OneOps.

Who You Are

  • You are an experienced Change Management Practitioner operating in a fast-paced high-tech environment, leading large cross functional and transformational projects and driving executive level change management.
  • You are adept at establishing rapport with cross-functional leaders (Operations, CX, Sales, Business Units, Finance, IT and leadership) to drive collaborative change plans and maximize value to those impacted.
  • You thrive on taking complex business problems or new business needs from the point of inception through the phases of discovery and analysis, the development of solution options, and ultimately to execution recommendation.
  • You are positive and collaborative with excellent communication and presentation skills, an active listener, and possess the ability to synthesize high-level information.
  • You have the ability to collect, interpret and cluster information in order to build and orchestrate relevant and innovative plans for achieving successful adoption.
  • You are a strategic inspiring leader, who is equally comfortable with tactical execution of the change management plan.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred) in a relevant field/area.
  • +15 years change leadership strategy and implementation experience (change management certification also preferred).
  • Excellent interpersonal, influence and communication (verbal and written) skills.
  • You strive to solve complex problems through raw analytical power and previous experience.
  • You clearly demonstrate leadership in tackling multiple, complex issues.
  • You are capable of crafting effective and long-lasting implementation of change by guiding and advising the customer.
  • You have a solid understanding of the Enterprise Process/policy/systems/data.
