Qualifications

Requires US Citizenship and an active SECRET Government Security Clearance

Requires 10 to 12 years with BS/BA or 8 to 10 years with MS/MA or 5 to 7 years with PhD.
Recognized industry specialist with technical insight in multiple fields and disciplines
Proven track record of software/tool integration and/or efficiency automation experience

Full stack developer - .NET, JavaScript and framework, Rest API, C, C++, C#, Ajax, SOAP, XML/HTML, Apache, IIS, Batch Scripting, Shell, Python and Python Libraries, CURL, PowerShell

System Design

Responsibilities

The Tools Automation Architect will provide delivery for all facets of tools solution and performance security as well as innovative design tools solutions for program issues that thus far have gone unsolved. Solutions will involve writing programs independently in various programming and script languages to integrate data from existing systems and design user interface for long-standing, hard to solve customer issues.

The Tools Automation Architect is responsible for the delivery of all components of their solutions including those provided by external support teams. They are also expected to assist in identification of issues they can assist in solving. The candidate will develop successful tools solutions regardless of any hurdles. As a senior member of the Engineering team, they can work through any issue to accomplish delivery of engineering products especially those that are not technical.

The candidate must have exceptional written and verbal communication skills such that there is no misunderstanding of requirements. They can thrive in a frenetic work environment where other support teams require clear and concise direction to support the candidates efforts. They will work independently and are able to show quantifiable daily progress. They can quickly identify organizational issues and use their communication skills to expeditiously work through them. The candidate has an exceptional sense of urgency demonstrated by prioritization of tasks after identifying common areas of organizational slowdowns.

Responsibilities:
Must have exceptional written and verbal communication skills and wide-ranging experience in infrastructure and systems full lifecycle management, to include Windows and Linux Virtual Machines (VMs), Networking components, physical servers, SQL Server and Oracle databases, Virtual infrastructure, and a variety of storage devices.
Work with leadership and stakeholders across the organization to design and develop approaches to automating routine IT Operations and Engineering tasks using existing tools.
Periodic reporting on the delivered automation and how it improved mission delivery.
Track and report on existing automation delivery.
Collaborate and work within the engineering branch of an operational organization.
Assess current monitoring and automation tools across the organization and make recommendations to improve existing or purchase new tools.
Assist in automation, development, and delivery of capacity planning reporting with the Capacity Planning Lead.
Wholly responsible for immediate delivery of new automation despite resource availability.
Seek out and create automation with little direction.
Ability to inspire colleagues to assist in accomplishment of your automation directives.
Create a roadmap for the organization which demonstrates to the customer what automation efficiencies you will deliver and when.
