As a Network Sales Engineer, youll create customized full-scale business solutions in collaboration with our Global Business Sales team. In this role, well rely on you as the subject matter expert on technical solutions. Youll ensure the success of customer integrations and manage the implementation of company products, services and solutions.

What you'll do:

+ _Lead technical discussions in client meetings across multiple levels and disciplines to identify business and technical needs, issues, and priorities_

+ Partner with direct sellers and specialty sales executives to close sales

+ Develop technical sales approaches to accelerate technology adoption, reduce deployment timeframes and minimize risks

+ Serve as an expert in the facilitation of product/service design, business processes and functional areas associated with solution architecture and design

+ Configure solutions, design and develop proposals, provide application support and oversee implementation and technical assurance

+ Deliver, manage and consult on strategic network service solutions based upon specific customer needs as identified in the account planning process

+ Seek and develop external partnerships for strategic opportunities for custom, complex solutions that drive value for the business and customers

What youll bring:

+ 5 - 15 years of direct work experience in the contact center, collaboration or cloud space

+ Vertical sales experience in IT solutions

+ Certifications (Knowledge or Equivalent): VMWare SD-WAN, Silver Peak SD-WAN, Fortinet SD-WAN, CCIE, CCNP, Azure, AWS

+ _Strong technical knowledge of IP networks (MPLS/SIP & SD-WAN)_

+ Well versed in enterprise architecture and/or IT strategies

+ Experience in providing solution-oriented technical designs

+ Strategic and consultative sales skills with experience

*This role may involve travel post pandemic and may require spending time at the customer premise presenting sales proposals and systems solutions.

**Required Skills and Experience:**

+ Twelve or more years in the telecommunications and/or network engineering

+ Ten or more years of previous sales engineering and/or technical sales consultation experience

+ Ten or more years in LAN/WAN/MAN networks including: MPLS, Routing Protocols, TCP/IP, VPNs, VoIP, Applications, Optical Networks, Wireless-Mobility, Security, Video, Hosting

+ Knowledge of Unified Communications

+ Cisco and Juniper Routing and Switching

+ Expertise, In-depth and working knowledge of client business drivers, applications, and networking industry trends is imperative

+ Exceptional corporate presentation, and relationship-building skills

+ Strategic thinker with sales intelligence, a strong presence and the ability to create, influence, and drive customer vision

+ Effective writing skills; ability to support the development of technically focused, solutions-oriented sales proposals

+ Highly motivated and self-directed with the ability to work well both independently and as proactive team member

+ Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into technology based solutions

+ Extensive working knowledge of AT&T company products and services

+ In-depth, working knowledge of client business drivers, applications, and networking industry trends is imperative.

+ Strong analytical and problem solving skills

+ Understands competitive products and services, and competitive strategies

+ Experience across the AT&T Data and IP service portfolio

+ Effectively collaborate with internal and external cross-functional organizations and customers

+ Highly motivated and self-directed with the ability to work well both independently and as proactive team member

+ Pass required sales and data assessments

+ Valid driver's license in the state of employment and insurance

**Desired Skills, Experience and Education:**

+ 12 or more years experience in a similar position within the same industry

+ Industry Certifications: CCNA, CCNP and CCIE

+ Proven ability to work with wide range of organizations and extended teams

+ Network Engineering and/or Capacity Planning Expertise

+ Bachelor degree or higher in technical related field, Computer Science or Engineering preferred
