The Cisco Security Business Group (SBG) focuses on empowering the world to reach its full potential, securely through the Cisco Secure products. We are looking for an experienced Technical Program Manager to help drive a portfolio of work within SBG Trust and Compliance and stakeholders across other teams across SBG. This job requires plenty of business savvy focus on emerging technical needs, transition requirements to internal stakeholders and helping to drive and measure results. Youll also partner closely with peers to help coordinate our efforts to solve massive challenges both in the security market and our own internal operations. 


What You Will Do:

  • Work with SBG Trust and Compliance leadership to identify team specific project management needs, as well as develop and establish consistent project management processes for our growing teams 

  • Support the team in delivering projects on time and on budget through established project management processes

  • Develop, deliver, and maintain technical and non-technical programs that support our growing security teams, including status dashboards for senior management

  • Consistently look for ways to innovate and improve existing processes 

  • Partner with peer teams to create and manage major cross-departmental programs and projects

  • Work with leadership to ensure were establishing effective, positive working partnerships with our peer teams that include highly effective patterns of communication and project coordination


Skills You Have:

  • Experience as a Technical Project/Program manager 

  • The ability to translate the needs of a team (technical or otherwise) into projects or programs that make Cisco a great place to learn and work

  • Strong ability to manage projects from beginning to end 

  • Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and timelines 

  • Strong written, verbal, and technical program management skills 

  • Self-starting, self-motivated, self-directed, and self-sufficient

  • Openness to new ideas and willingness to innovate 

  • Ability to operate effectively in a remote environment

  • Ability to facilitate meetings and comfortably speak in front of groups 

  • Experience and interest in planning and facilitating team events 

  • Experience in cloud native certification requirements including an understanding of the FedRAMP, SOC2, ISO 27001, 27017, 27018 certification process is highly preferred 

  • Experience working with governance, risk, and compliance systems and performing risk assessment activities is highly preferred
