What Youll Do

Are you interested in building the future of Ciscos customer experience? We are looking for a seasoned Technical Leader to join the Customer Experience Chief Technology Office (CX CTO) team, leading the CX innovation work, driving our technology delivery standards for excellence, and developing the career paths for current and future technical talent. As part of CX CTO team, you will be part of the group driving technology strategy for a multi-billion-dollar business. The CX Engineering and Product Incubation (CPXE)  team is chartered with defining and building the Cisco CX Cloud Platform. This critical technology initiative takes our current successful portfolio to the next level, enabling deeper customer insights by infusing analytics, machine learning, high scale architecture and process automation into the very core of our offerings.  

As an industry thought leader, you will develop technical collateral including technical case studies, best practices guides, whitepapers, and solution reference architecture documents to share knowledge and drive adoption. 

Who Youll Work With

You will work with some of the best and brightest technology leaders in the industry. As part of the CX CTO team, you will be critical in transforming Ciscos digital customer experience. You will work with principal engineers and architects, product management, executives, and other stakeholders to define the technical roadmap for the product in response to customer requirements and market forces and ultimately deliver enterprise-class solutions that enrich the customer experience. You will be an integral part of Ciscos senior technical leadership community, recognized as a thought leader within Cisco and the broader industry. 

Who You Are

You are viewed as a technical leader who holds the perfect mix of technical expertise, communication, critical thinking and decision-making skills. You also have hands-on experience with Collaboration technologies, as well as other disciplines including Wireless, IoT, 5G, and Cloud.  You have a can do attitude and the ability to work multi-functionally across internal and external teams of all levels. You are excited to work in a fast-paced collaborative environment.  You are self-motivated, driven and a team player and some other experiences and skills that you have include:

You have a BS Degree in Computer Science or Engineering plus 5-10+ years of related experience and are recognized as a strategic thinker in internal and external forums, with extensive technical, market and business expertise.  

You Are Highly Capable Of 

       Applying advanced analytical thought and judgment to think beyond existing solutions  

       Providing technical leadership for high-profile customer engagements  

       Incubating, conceptualizing, planning, designing, and leading transformational projects  

       Tackling complex problems creatively

       Excellence in written and verbal communication

       Making team connections and working well in small and large group environments

       Driving trusted advisor status with customers

       Providing insights on industry trends and technology landscape

       Providing a passion for Innovation and an interest in the Future of Work and its impact on greater business practices.


You Also Have 

       Strong background in systems architecture, design, documentation, implementation and deployment on projects. 

       Deep knowledge of the Cisco Collaboration portfolio including Cisco Webex Meetings, Teams, and devices.

       Experience in Wireless, Mobility, or 5G

       Experience with DNA Spaces or Meraki

       Experience in IoT, Cloud, and DataCenter technologies

       Diverse background in the Cisco product landscape and

       Skilled in at least one programming language (C/C++, Java, JavaScript Python, Go) 

       Cisco technical Certifications such as : CCNA / CCNP / CCDP/ CCIE or equivalent strongly preferred
