Who You'll Work With


The Service Provider team is an amazing group of engineers that deliver quality technical support services for Cisco hardware and software products on a worldwide basis via phone, email, web and remote access for Service Provider infrastructures. Collaboration within the team and with other teams across all of Cisco is a key value. Active development within the role and other areas technology areas is also part of our culture.


What Youll Do


  • Work independently and collaboratively to solve customer problems
  • Works for worldwide customers within her/his own team and with other Cisco teams to solve problems and enhance future products
  • Solve reported product and network problems of moderate and high complexity
  • Effectively utilize technical and customer relationship skills as well as databases of existing issues, debugging tools and lab simulations to analyze problems and identify solutions with a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Provide systems/product training and identifies improvement opportunities and recommendations in products and processes
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest technology products in order to provide a high quality support in current and future types of support services
  • Innovate - work with other engineers to enhance tools, script automation, or other activities that will help the engineer to work more efficiently and solve problems quickly

Travel and working hours

  • Limited travel is required if any at all
  • Our standard working hours are Monday to Friday during European business hours, and we also provide weekend support

Who You Are

  • CCNP-Level knowledge of Cisco Routing/Switching Networks
  • Have strong customer service skills
  • Excel at communicating complex issues in verbal and written form
  • Know how to listen before speaking
  • Be a collaborative team player
  • Have a thirst for knowledge and eager to learn
  • Passion and demonstrated ability to learn and work in a multicultural team environment
  • Can perform well under pressure and in disruptive environments where priorities can change
  • Fluency in English is a must. An additional language like Portuguese or Spanish is desired.

Desired skills

  • CCIE: SP and/or CCIE: Routing/Switching
  • Working knowledge of Cisco SP technologies
  • University (or equivalent) degree or equivalent work experience
  • Work experience in designing, deploying, configuring, supporting and troubleshooting networks with a focus on SP networks
