The team leader of the Web and Interface design and Implementation team will be responsible for planning, directing and coordinating a team of associates to develop a self-service portal. The leader will be following web and accessibility standards and lead the design interface to maximize the usability through aesthetics and design. The leader will also be responsible for understanding operational processes throughout the Technology organization in order to focus on improving and automating interactions and improve process efficiencies.
The leader and their team will be responsible for development and delivery of key operational metrics. The leader will be responsible for shepherding the use of Agile based design principles into development efforts used to create and deliver automation and workflow/orchestration solutions.
The Team Leader also has responsibility for Continual Process Improvement. In the role the team leader will perform root cause analysis with the appropriate process experts to develop remediation options and take actions to ensure we have the right controls in place. The team leader for the area will also participate in co-design, ideation activities with other stakeholders to deliver state of the art efficiencies in operations across the Infrastructure and Operations area.

* Incorporate leading edge technologies, methodologies and best practices into all facets of web and interface design responsibilities.

* Drive development and delivery of efficient operations to best support the Technology Division.

* Integration and adoption of self -service portal and reduction in contact centers contacts through improved processes and designs.

* The leader will have direct and indirect accountability to drive efforts to realize the benefits of process improvements, orchestration and data analytics as innovative catalysts to improve operations.

Position Responsibilities

* Recruit, hire, train and supervise staff, or participate in staffing decisions.

* Meet with leaders, vendors, and others, to solicit cooperation and resolve problems.

* Direct daily operations of team, analyzing workflow, establishing priorities, identifying automation opportunities, developing standards and setting deadlines.

* Direct and implement the creation of a self-service portal for end users.

* Oversee the creation of searchable indices for Web page content.

* Collaborate with teams to resolve problems uncovered in testing or through production end user feedback, and correct problems and communicate actions or options.

* Direct and execute pre-production activities, such as creating storyboards and establishing project timelines

* Collaborate on larger initiatives and project to provide process input, coordinate training, and partner with project team on execution efforts.

* Provide support and training to internal customers to implement specific processes changes; may deliver presentations, including up to the executive level

* Minimum of 3 years of experience directly related to Technology with at least 1 year in a leadership role (mentoring associates, lead analyst, project leaders, etc.) preferred.

* At least 5 years of experience designing, writing, implementing website content for technology organizations

* As a member of the leadership team the successful candidate will be required to attain the SIE certification within one year of hire.

* Led a team through transformation into web based self service organization.

* In-depth knowledge and understanding of ITSM platforms.

* Experience with and understanding Service Now and Salesforce, as well as development.

* Hands on experience with JavaScript, HTML and design/writing principals

* Experience with web content management systems such as Oracle, Dreamweaver, Sharepoint, Adobe etc.

* Technology savvy and Innovation focused; leverages technology to solve for process issues, increase efficiency & automation, improve end user experience

* Data focused and driven, with the ability to create and share reports, data and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
