As a Team Leader within Marketing's internal agency, you will be responsible for a team of creative professionals with expertise in user interface and digital design, graphic design and video who deliver multi-media experiences to external and internal audiences.

Key Responsibilities include:

* Lead through others to develop and implement creative strategies focused on delivering highly personalized multimedia user experiences (UX) driven by what clients' value, especially across complex digital experiences that support the firm's client and investor digital strategy.
* Provide thought leadership and recommendations to senior leaders about user experience in order to build maturity of the discipline in Marketing, position the team as experts in experiential design and ultimately plan execution to meet business goals.
* Enable alignment of program/strategy components across divisions and audiences to strengthen the brand internally and externally.
* Lead and influence change management processes by providing expertise on driving change within the firm.
* Establish internal and external resourcing strategies, set priorities, identify action steps and develop team processes for achieving individual, team and project objectives consistently and efficiently.
* Engage and inspire others to strategically execute work aligned to firm objectives, standards and regulatory requirements, leveraging agency relationships and capabilities as needed.
* Develop a high performing team by setting clear expectations, providing timely feedback, conducting performance reviews, guiding professional development and mentoring potential successors.


*Highly qualified candidates will have an extensive background in applied experiential design/UXD in addition to brand management and people leadership in an agency setting. *

Functional:

* B.S./B.A. in Communication, Marketing, Design or related field required. M.S./M.A./MBA preferred. Financial service experience preferred.
* Minimum 10 years of experience in marketing or related field AND minimum of 3 years' experience in front end design, development, interactive design or related field required.
* Advanced ability to apply Human Centered design principles and design thinking methodologies as well as ability to lead others in applying these methodologies.
* Strong working knowledge of responsive web and mobile application design and development.
* Demonstrated success developing and delivering strategic outcomes in a large, complex organization.
* Extensive knowledge of communication principles, tools and message design elements.
* Superior written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to serve as a senior consultant to firm leaders and business areas regarding planning, strategic program development and delivery.
Leadership:
* Experience leading through others to achieve results, including setting direction, establishing priorities and providing thought leadership.
* Proven ability to prioritize and delegate work as well as identify skills required to complete it in a dynamic, matrix environment.
* Proven ability to develop strong relationships, collaborate, influence and build consensus at all levels.
* Must be an innovative thinker to improve processes and procedures.
* Must have excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation, organizational and project management skills.
* Must be flexible and willing to explore different paths to achieve an outcome and adjust quickly to new circumstances.
