*What the Technology Quality Team does.*

The Technology Quality team is responsible for automating functional, performance and regression testing of firm critical applications. These systems are custom built, and vendor supported applications, used daily by our home office associates, 12,000 branch teams and clients to help clients achieve their financial goals. We are seeking an exceptionally talented person to innovate and collaborate with our team to generate creative solutions and new ideas that will change the way we test these applications. *What you'll do.*
Youll lead one of our teams of Quality Assurance professionals who serve on delivery teams in one of the firms many portfolios of digital products. You'll play a key role in supporting the delivery of extraordinary experiences to the firms clients, branch teams, and associates. Successful candidates will be able to:
* *Lead *- Align team activities, strategies, responsibilities and objectives with the firm's strategic direction. Co-create and execute on strategy and objectives with the team and leaders. Develop and execute on-going improvements for processes related to the team (e.g. resource management, succession planning). Provide leadership, development and mentoring to associates on the team
* *Plan *Assist with defining, measuring and meeting business requirements, and providing program or system level resource estimates
* *Develop *Provide functional testing capabilities, performance test APIs and provide infrastructure support to the automation testing process.
* *Mentor *Provide guidance, training and mentorship on technical systems design, development of best practices, and Technology processes and tools
* *Learn -* Manage and develop self while internalizing leadership feedback
* *Communicate *- Establish and maintain effective communication and relationships across teams, departments, divisions and vendors

*What you'll need*
* Have or obtain SIE Certification within 18 months

* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, etc. preferred or equivalent experience in information systems

* Five years of experience in software development and support of applications in Web environment and/or in automated testing development
* Previous leadership experience is required
* Expertise in open systems development using Java, J2EE and Weblogic is preferred
* Knowledge of financial services industry preferred
* Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
* Excellent organizational and time management skills
