You will be the expert in sales territory planning, territory analysis, and helping gauge the health of the business at the Americas level. You will be responsible for managing relationships with executive sales leadership while communicating with local sales management. You will help drive decisions from our sales leaders through thoughtful and thorough analysis and through your ability to present your findings and recommendations. Organization and attention to detail are key in this role, as is the ability to learn quickly and communicate effectively, as you will be required to take on a variety of projects at a fast pace. You are looking to expand your analytical portfolio and are passionate about learning to enable your teammates into success.

What you will do:

  • Partner with sales management and senior leadership as a trusted advisor, in particular at the Americas level. Do this by providing deep quantitative insights matched with a thoughtful operational process that is based on a solid understanding of key business drivers.
  • Build rep territory and segmentation models; act as primary advisor on sales coverage to Sales Leadership.
  • Produce & automate weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting with focus on insight and action.
  • Build territory analyses, determining how we should carve up the region into specific rep coverage and work with sales ops to operationalize.
  • Provide mentorship to analysts to help build their strengths in delivering insight, building strong analytical frameworks, project management, and communication. Recognize coaching and growth opportunities for each team member and help provide the feedback and tools to set each member of the team up for success.
  • Define standard methodologies in reporting and analysis and encourage and mentor team members to achieve these standards of excellence.
  • Establish and standardize best reporting practices when it comes to data sources, tools, and process in regards to Meraki sales reporting.
  • Understand points of friction for the broader analyst community; recommend improvements and help drive these recommendations.
  • Help to build a strong team culture by maintaining a positive, can-do approach, and encouraging other members of the team through times of ambiguity and challenge.
  • Partner with leadership to discover and build new planning and insights projects.

You have:

  • 5-10 years proven experience in Sales Operations or other Sales Support functions, with specific experience in territory management and headcount strategy
  • Experience and extensive knowledge of New Year Readiness planning in a rapidly growing / scaling organization and project management experience directly related to Annual Planning cycle.
  • Experience with the technical aspects of Salesforce, particularly in reporting and hierarchy management.
  • Strong analytical experience in financial modeling and data analysis.
  • The ability prioritize tasks efficiently & solve problems independently
  • High degree of attention to detail
  • Solid understanding of sales and business processes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships with other departments, enabling you to make sound recommendations to sales leadership and more broadly
  • A good sense of humor
