As Talent Acquisition Manager, you'll lead a team of recruiters to help us successfully recruit for a broad spectrum of team members focused on delivering exceptional patient care, especially Care Coordinators, Medical Assistants, Radiologic Technologist, and Registered Nurses. You will support the business' growth while maintaining our culture and quality standards.

 

You'll be an integral part of the Optum Care Delivery recruiting team and will contribute specifically in the areas of performance monitoring, reporting and analysis, and recruiter training. You'll do this through team member development and implementation of sourcing strategies, the building of candidate pipelines and enhancing our processes. Together we'll research and implement practices that allow us to attract the strongest talent.

 

Primary Responsibilities:


Leadership:

  • You'll manage a team of recruiters, balancing their workloads, helping them prioritize their workload and supporting them in the recruitment and hiring processes
  • You'll coach your team to provide the best experience and drive continuous improvement in the recruitment and hiring processes
  • You'll develop short and long term goals for your team and ensure their success in meeting those objectives
  • You'll partner with hiring managers to identify current and future hiring needs, challenges, and action plans; and develop strategies for engaging, and bringing on board the best candidates
  • Together with the Talent Acquisition Director develop forecasted critical role plans, sourcing strategies and create pipelines for our hard to fill roles
  • Work with the Talent Acquisition Director to develop forecasted critical role plans
  • You'll stay on the pulse of emerging hiring trends and employment law changes and advise about any improvements or adjustments we should make

Performance Monitoring, Reporting & Analysis, Training:

  • You'll use recruiting dashboards to help us track progress towards our recruiting goals and keep teams accountable for their work, recruiters and hiring managers alike
  • We will also use the reports to lower our cost per hire and attract better quality candidates
  • You'll be responsible for building business fluency within the team and developing and maintaining a high performance culture
  • You'll share updates on market and talent trends with leaders
  • You'll conduct training for recruiters, hiring managers and team members to elevate our sourcing, interviewing, the offer process, referrals and overall candidate experience
