  • Demonstrated knowledge of business and management principles for strategic planning, resource allocation, and coordination of people and resources

  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Strong interpersonal, networking, and critical thinking skills
  • Bachelor's degree in related field of Business or Systems Engineering
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in scheduling

Work Description: The individual! selected for this position will support the Sponsor's organization responsible for coordinating all Internet capabilities and uses across the entirety of the Sponsor. The specific role for this position will be to provide Project Management oversight for a Program Management Office, planning, and coordinating activities. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Provide end-to-end project management support by planning, and coordinating activities to ensure successful implementation of and task execution within a Program Management Office (PMO)
  • Provide a total systems perspective including a technical understanding of relationships, dependencies and requirements
  • Provide inputs to or create program deliverables to include documentation, briefings, summary reports, status reports, cost and schedule estimates, demonstrations, proofs of concept, and pilots
  • Coordinate with other team members and ensure problem solution, appropriate risk reduction, and stakeholder satisfaction
  • Develop long-term and strategic objectives to ensure Sponsor's requirements will be satisfied in future years
  • Facilitate all control gate activities to include at a minimum tailoring, planning for, gathering details, determining stakeholders and signatories, and conduct briefings
  • Interact and collaborate with multiple stakeholders to define program-specific requirements and resolve discrepancies between proposed plans and established standards
  • Identify programmatic constraints, competing resource requirements, and ability to convey well thought mitigation strategies
  • Use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
  • Regularly monitor project progress continuously and make detailed scheduled reports on measurable items, such as milestones and deliverables
