Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Agile project management concepts (scrums and scrum management) and able to build MS project plans/schedules of medium complexity
  • Experience coordinating, drafting and providing responses to Action Items
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to synthesize information from various resources
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and work independently; self-starter
  • A Bachelors degree (or equivalent years of experience) in liberal arts studies, communications, or other associated discipline

Requires 8 to 10 years with BS/BA or 6 to 8 years with MS/MA or 3 to 5 years with PhD.

Responsibilities

Responsible for translating the clients business requirements into specific systems, applications or process designs for very large complex IT solutions and integrating architecture. Acts as an advocate for the client as the ultimate authority on the architecture designed to address client business problems. Plans, implements, tests, documents, and maintains enterprise-wide solutions to total system or subsystems using internally created and/or off the shelf products. Analyzes and identifies all or part of a company's existing or new peripheral, network, and telecommunications systems requirements, taking into consideration the special technology needs. Establishes functional and technical specifications and standards, solves hardware/software interface problems, defines input/output parameters, and ensures integration of the entire system or subsystem. Provides direction for design activities. Often project-based, sometimes working at customer sites.

The principal role of the IT Project Integrator is to provide technical management support to multiple projects simultaneously to ensure efficient and timely cross-project coordination of plans, facilities, technical resources, project schedules, status reporting, briefings, and issues. As a Project Integrator, the responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Provide integrated project management and communications support within the Sponsors Agile Project Management Framework (PMF)
  • Schedule team and project meetings; track and publish team deliverable status; prepare meeting minutes to record action items and decisions; and coordinate cross-team and directorate activities to enable timely completion of project deliverables.
  • Design and/or maintain team web site(s) to enable timely sharing of work products and communicating deliverable status and other information.
  • Serve as the sponsors focal point for information management, security, and information system access.
  • Coordinate with Sponsors technical teams and external representatives as required to support local and external project planning, budgeting, security accreditation and maintenance
