The Intelligence group provides high-end systems engineering and integration products and services, data analytics and software development to national and military intelligence customers. Responsibilities

A successful candidate may have the following responsibilities (not all encompassing of the position):

  • Responsible for translating the clients business requirements into specific systems, applications or process designs for very large complex IT solutions and integrating architecture.
  • Plans, implements, tests, documents, and maintains enterprise-wide solutions to total system or subsystems using internally created and/or off the shelf products.
  • Analyzes and identifies all or part of a company's existing or new peripheral, network, and telecommunications systems requirements, taking into consideration the special technology needs.
  • Establishes functional and technical specifications and standards, solves hardware/software interface problems, defines input/output parameters, and ensures integration of the entire system or subsystem.
  • Writes, rewrites and/or edits technical documents such as technical procedure manuals, user manuals, programming manuals, service manuals, operational specifications, and related technical publications to communicate clearly and effectively technical specifications and instructions to a wide range of audiences.
  • Provides direction for design activities.
  • Often project-based, sometimes working at customer sites.
  • Conducts quality review of materials
  • Translates complex data into user-friendly information.
  • Gathers information through research, statistical reports and interviews with technical staff.
  • Assists in preparing material for technical seminars and business forums.
  • May be called upon to assist in technical or business presentations in such meetings as business or customer needs require.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to translate technical information to non-technical audiences
  • Proven ability to gather requirements and support decomposition or testing of the requirements
  • Requires a minimum of 2 years with BS/BA or 0 years with MS/MA/MBA
  • Candidate must be eligible for a security clearance
