As a Director of Systems Engineering at Cisco, you provide strategic business direction and technical vision. You will lead a direct and indirect pre-sales engineering organization responsible for driving over a $2.5B in product and services revenue to our largest enterprise customers headquartered in the US. This role requires a senior technical sales leader who works with leadership and leverages advanced knowledge of Ciscos architectures, services, programs, its customers, the market, and the industry to drive innovation for Cisco, customers, and partners.

We are  part of the Global Enterprise Segment. We work with Ciscos premier enterprise customers to ensure the best possible business outcomes by bringing technology to life. Who You Are

A valued leader within the sales leadership team and evangelises Ciscos technology vision across all architectures to senior Cisco leadership and industry partners. Build capacity and lead technical excellence within the sales and engineering team.

  • Drives operational excellence across the three pillars of Technical, Business and People Leadership.
  • Lead cross functional projects and initiatives beyond immediate area of responsibility.
  • Monitor and measure team progress against a business plan.
  • Clearly and succinctly convey information and ideas, including experienced executive communication and presentation skills.
  • Lead team to technical account strategies that align to customer business outcomes and goals; assign resources appropriately.
  • Develop senior management relationships with customers, partners and business groups.
  • Provide thought leadership to customer and partner based on short and long-term business and industry drivers.
  • Initiate programs to improve customer experience to increase brand loyalty for Cisco.
  • Facilitate expert understanding of customer requirements between customers, corporate, and the field.
  • Understand of driving products and articulate trade-offs between Cisco and competitor products.
