Qualifications Requires BA/BS with 8-10 years experience, or a MS/ MA with 6-8 years experience or a PhD with 3-5 years experience.
- Oversees the day-to-day health of the enterprise and customer VoIP infrastructure, with a focus on assuring stability, capacity, and organizational productivity. The network is a converged IP network carrying data, voice, and video.
- Cisco VoIP experience (phone configuration, dial plan, CUCM, CER, Unity Connection, etc.), Call Manager.
- Ensure incident tickets are attended to promptly, escalated as appropriate, and closed with proper documentation.
- Experience with VoIP, inbound, and outbound voice networks, experience with network protocols and circuit provisioning and standards, understanding of LAN protocols.
- Proven ability to plan, investigate, design, and implement voice networks.
- Ability to effectively interact with customers to discuss needs and provide solutions.
- Familiarity with VoIP troubleshooting methods utilizing tools, such as Cisco RTMT or Wireshark.
- Manage and maintain the Voice and Video Infrastructure.
- Analyze and monitor Call Quality and Voice issues.
- Strong background and experience in Tier 1 functions of work.
- Excellent Customer Service skills.
- Strong Troubleshooting Capabilities.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Previous experience with Remedy, ServiceNow, or similar ticketing system is helpful.
- Arrange support with vendors as required.
- Participate in the planning and design of user training programs and schedules.
- Strong team player and team mentor.
