Qualifications Required:- Requires active TS/SCI with Poly.
- Requires 10 to 12 years with BS/BA or 8 to 10 years with MS/MA or 5 to 7 years with PhD.
- Requires freedom from organizational conflict of interest beteen the hired individual and the development contrctors for the program office.
- Strong Systems Engineering background with afocus on core systems engineering processes in support of end-to-end mission and services closure.
- BS in engineering, physics or related technical degree.
- Experience in supporting Requirements Engineering, Conops development, and system integration to accommodate End to End Systems Engineering.
- Integration and closure experience within overall customer domain.
- Expertise in mission technical capabilities and system performance analysis and assessment.
- Experience identifying user needs and gaps, identifying potential solutions, and assessing/analyzing alternatives.
- Ability to operate effectively within various SETA, FFRDC, and Government lines of authority.
Desired:- Familiarity with direct IC customer, technical familiarity with mission processing or mission control of systems, including sensor knowledge.
- Ability to work for direct IC customer and familiarity with that customers processes and organization.
- Detailed knowledge of customer's mission capabilities (to include GEOINT, COMM, SIGINT and Multi-INT domains) and overall space and ground architecture.

Peraton is the prime System Engineering and Integration contractor for a National Communications Program and provides full lifecycle, end-to-end Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I) services to a National Customer. The National Communications Programs mission focus is to provide worldwide space and ground communications services utilizing state-of-the-art communications technologies. Peraton leads a geographically dispersed team to support the design, development, acquisition and evolution of this complex multi-segmented communications system.
The INTREPID program provides transport system engineering expertise to the customer to develop new capabilities that meet user needs. The external facing activities are in a Services paradigm, while internally they are determining the acquisitions required to ensure the services are available as promised to the user community.
Responsibilities:- You will support capability and solution definition for future systems through various system readiness events and independent review teams.
- You will support space, ground and enterprise teams developing architecture and requirement baselines, establishing and assessing mission capabilities, assessing system and segment schedule and risks, supporting test and verification strategy and system integration of new systems and segments in support of expanded space and ground capabilities.
- You will lead project teams, and support system and mission strategy development across the various program office groups.
- You will have daily interaction with the customer and supporting contractors, and will follow customer standards and processes as the program matures through the life cycle.
- You will interact with the contractor for the space segment and help the customer manage the contractor to deliver the required functionality and performance.
