Systems Engineer for MBSE Support

Qualifications Individual Capabilities/Experience Required:- A Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related discipline and at least 15 years of systems engineering experience. A Masters or PhD Degree in a qualifying discipline may be substituted for two years of experience. Note: A High School Diploma or GED plus 19 years of systems engineering experience would also be acceptable.

Individual Capabilities/Experience Desired:- Hands-on experience of developing system models in SysML with a recognized MBSE tool, preferably CAMEO.
- Ability to translate DoDAF artifacts into MBSE artifacts
- Adaptability to sustain MBSE principles within an agile development framework
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- Experience with a large, multi-organizational development
- Previous experience supporting agile development in the customers environment
Responsibilities This position supports the Program Management Office (PMO) overseeing a large multi-organizational software development project. The individual will provide Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE) support implementing MBSE principles to support system requirements, design, analysis, verification, and validation activities beginning with the conceptual design, continuing throughout the development and lifecycle of the project.
