JOB DESCRIPTION

Systems architect Responsible for driving the change and transforming the architecture of Japan's service providers. Systems architect will play a key role in defining what's next, how the architecture can and will evolve and help the customers along with that entire journey.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

- Be the technical leader and chief architect for the account

- Be the most trusted technical leader for the customer.

- Be the influential leader in driving the mind set change and make innovation happen in the networking industry

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

- Fit with Cisco's inclusive and diverse culture

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science/Engineer, Math or related field or equivalent experience

- 10+ years Service Provider architecture design/implementation/support experience including the areas such as automation, orchestration, virtualization and other evolving network technologies.

- High Energy, Passionate about driving the business and technology transformation in Telco industry

- Experience of building the new franchise, new account from scratch by building the trust with new customer.

- Fluent in Japanese

- Good communication skill (both verbal and writing) in English.

DESIRED SKILLS

- Strong strategic thinking skill, fact based analytical skill.

- Strong software background is a plus

- Great human connection with CTO/CIO level executives of Japanese telco customers

- Understanding about Cisco technologies

- Experience working inside telecom organization

- demonstrated the knowledge in bleeding edge technology areas. Publications, lectures, patents are plus.
