Pay Transparency Nondiscrimination Provision

Qualifications
Requires 0 to 2 years with BS/BA or 6 to 8 years no degree.
Roles supporting PWS 3, DB Engineering & Architecture Subtasks include
Analysis of Alternative methods to select appropriate cloud/database technologies
Develop actionable roadmap for evaluating, prototyping, testing, and implementing new architecture/technology in a comprehensive modernization/transformation for data and cloud
Implement, test architecture designs. Develop engineering proofs of value to drive MVPs; test, evaluate, and deploy results in DevSecOps approach
Evaluate migration tasks and apply our best practice Data Migration process to plan, design, test, and execute database migrations
Roles supporting PWS 4, Data Sharing Environment subtasks include:
Design SOA and Microservices: Architect and engineer develop Oracle SOA stack compliant with NIST, W3C, and OASIS
Customer DB move to the cloud, evaluate additional cloud services such as Kubernetes and Docker for microservices and containerization
Implement CI/CD pipeline automation
Maintain CCDWS, CSM, services for data exchange, and Support ESB middleware
Apply SAFe; Provide Oracle SMEs to support existing Oracle ESB and Oracle SOA
Responsibilities
Applies technical knowledge to assist clients in the design and development of solutions to complex technical engineering and applications problems, network challenges, or system administration issues. Establishes the basic structure of the system, defines essential core design features and elements that provide the framework. Incorporates engineering strategies for introducing new technology into the customer's infrastructure related to its business processes of collection, analysis, production, and dissemination. Performs cost-benefit analyses to determine whether requirements are best met by manual, software, or hardware functions; making maximum use of commercial off-the-shelf or already developed components. Applies knowledge of enterprise IT or engineering needs to design improved processes, generate valid requirements, and ensures that these are consistent with the customer's enterprise technical architecture. May participate in business development activities.
Systems Architect
Establish system information requirements using analysis of the information engineer(s) in the development of enterprise-wide or large-scale information systems. Design architecture to include the software, hardware, and communications to support the total requirements as well as provide for present and future cross-functional requirements and interfaces. Ensure these systems are compatible and in compliance with the standards for open systems architectures, the Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) and ISO reference models, and profiles of standards - such as Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) Open Systems Environment (OSE) reference model - as they apply to the implementation and specification of information management solution of the application platform, across the Application Program Interface (API), and the external environment/software application. Ensure that the common operating environment is compliant with the Agency enterprise architecture and applicable reference models. Evaluate analytically and systematically problems of workflows, organization, and planning and develop appropriate corrective action. Provide daily supervision and direction to staff.
