Responsibilities Job Title: Supply Chain WMS Specialist Employer: PepsiCo, Inc. Location: 433 W Van Buren St. Chicago, IL 60607 Responsible for development of cloud Warehouse Management System (WMS) solutions that can be scaled to varying locations within PepsiCo as part of eCommerce (eComm). Recommend methods for improving utilization for personnel, material, and utilities. Confer with clients, vendors, and internal and external teams regarding purchases, product and product specifications, manufacturing capabilities, and project status, and to integrate a WMS solution that will plan, organize, staff, direct, and report on supply chain operations. Identify and implement process automation that improves cost and service metrics for supply chain. Plan and establish sequence of operations to fabricate and assemble parts or products and to promote efficient utilization. Develop and manage capital projects, with focus on execution and timing while maintaining business continuity. Define software scope and requirements to integrate into carrier, inventory, and order management systems. Work with eComm teams to ensure proper financial and SOX compliance. Identify opportunities to improve process based on key learnings from completed projects. Qualifications Bachelors degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Engineering or a related field with three (3) years of experience in the job offered or related role. Prior experience must include three (3) years experience with defining software scope and requirements to integrate into carrier, inventory, and order management systems; identifying and implementing process automation that improves cost and service metrics for warehouse operations; working with vendors or client and internal and external teams to integrate a WMS solution that plan, organize, staff, direct, and report on supply chain operations; training of frontline warehouse supply chain team; implementing and rolling out Warehouse Management System and Order Management System. This position requires 50% domestic U.S. travel to PepsiCo warehouses. Telecommuting permitted: work may be performed within normal commuting distance from this PepsiCo. Inc. office.
