Auto req ID: 248050BR Job Description This role can be based out of Tampa or Orlando Florida The Plant Director contributes to the success of the organization by leading & directing a PepsiCo Beverage manufacturing location. This includes driving strategy, financial leadership, and operational execution to ensure achievement of manufacturing, warehousing, quality, safety, service, and financial goals for owned location. The Plant Director must convert the locations business plan into a strategy specifically for their plant operations to deliver their annual operating plan, productivity targets and technology advancement plans. This individual is responsible for managing the locations leadership team and partnering cross-functionally with key business resources inclusive of HR, Sales, GTM and Capability teams to drive and achieve a seamless operation. Additionally, this role is responsible for providing matrix supply chain leadership to the locations Sales and Delivery functions. Key Responsibilities: Manages plant operations and directs strategy and execution of manufacturing and warehousing at a beverage manufacturing plant location while ensuring favorable product quality and cost while driving accurate and timely production Ensures a strong and sustained diverse people culture where leadership and frontline employees embrace The PepsiCo Way Sets Annual Operating Plan strategy in alignment with Division direction. Owns and manages overall Plant budget and oversees locations capital expenditures as well as expense budgeting Partners with capability teams including LSS, TPM, Quality, Optimization, Supply Chain and Sales and Delivery partners to unlock productivity dollars, drive efficiency and unlock process improvement within the location. Directly accountable for locations productivity target Engages in cross-functional and matrix alignment between the Supply Chain, Sales and Delivery functions within the network and Division structure. Collaborates with Division President/GM/VP of Operations to ensure goals are established and any service, quality or production issues are resolved for customer satisfaction Establishes operations initiatives/process changes for the improvement of safety, quality, cost, delivery and workflows Accountable for ensuring consistent application of business and people processes through influencing site leadership teams - on areas such as safety, talent, quality, financial reporting, controls, etc. Engages in ad hoc projects and develops best practices and principles. Shares materials and contributes to initiatives that can have scope up to multi-division or national beverage production Develops, coaches and imports/exports talent by leveraging leadership development tools, mentoring circles, engagement in cultural and inclusion committees, core HR processes, recognition tools and OHS report Champions Lean Six Sigma and TPM initiatives for the plant This role may require off-shift and weekend work This role may require some travel (less than 5%)Compensation: The expected salary range is $113,300-$170,00 [Use PEP salary range Min to Mid for the role level Bonus based on performance and eligibility; target payout is 25% annual salary paid out annually And an additional target payout of 10% of annual salary is paid out over 3 years following the end of the performance period. [$25,000] Long term incentive equity may be awarded based on eligibility and performance. Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavementOther benefits, subject to elections and eligibility: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Health and Dependent Care Reimbursement Accounts, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), Insurance (Accident, Group Legal, Life), Defined Contribution Retirement Plan [add Car Program if applicable for role] Qualifications/Requirements Bachelors Degree in Business, Engineering or a related field Deep well-rounded technical knowledge in the areas of production, maintenance and quality Lean Six Sigma Experience highly preferred, demonstrated by successful completion or oversite of a major improvement project Strong business acumen with business financials and process controls A minimum of 10-12 years of prior work experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment within the food or beverage industries A minimum of 6-8 years of experience managing teams of seasoned professionals Manufacturing site people leadership is a must. A proven track record of developing high potential talent Prior experience in the consumer & packaged goods industry Demonstrated ability to function successfully in a fast-paced, changing work environment Internal operations/technical experience within the beverage industry is preferred Ability to lead a team-based approach to decision making Adaptable to change; ability to motivate and inspire others to lead complex change initiatives; maintain employee morale through change Ability to set and lead the agenda providing influence leadership Ability to partner with Sales and other areas of the supply chain, while maintaining effective relationships Ability to develop and coach strong people leaders Covid-19 vaccination may be a condition of employment dependent on role and location.
