Auto req ID: 237950BR Job Description The Gatorade Sector SC Supply Planner will plan production for internal sites and copackers in a cost-effective manner. Ensuring finished goods are moved to appropriate distribution points and that customer service goals are met. Additionally, it will perform other supply chain functions such as tracking STO by monitoring warehouse and transportation performance, monitoring the age of products, run frequency and KPI reporting. Essential Functions include: Effectively utilize R4 planning tools to generate timely finished goods production plans. These production plans must be communicated to both plant and copackers uploaded into a materials management system so suppliers have visibility of raw material requirements Effectively utilize R4 RP tools to generate timely replenishment orders and monitor deployment and delivery of appropriate inventory levels to the warehouses Communicate with shipping and warehouse locations to ensure transfers and shuttles are expeditiously handled in priority order Assist warehouses and co-packers to ensure inventories are accurate and transactions are entered in a timely fashion Monitor freshness reports and develop a game plan to address product that will not meet freshness goals Monitor inventories of items that are to be discontinued to eliminate/minimize scrap dollars. Assist planners when old age occurs to expeditiously donate or dump product as necessary Closely monitor replenishment plans for the effective and timely launch of new products and promotional initiatives. This includes working with planners, transportation, warehousing, project managers, contract manufacturing managers, and others Maintain all user data elements for all new items so they are added to R4 tools for effective planning Qualifications/Requirements Strong preference for a degree in a business-related field (Operations Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, etc.) Prefer a candidate with 1 to 3 years experience in planning or inventory management. Experience with SAP is a plus. The incumbent should have strong communication skills, as well as excellent interpersonal, collaboration and influence management skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required. Working knowledge of production and distribution cost structure is required to support effective decision making.
