What could you accomplish with Walmart?Job Title:Supply Chain MBA, Operations Leadership- 2021 Graduates (Nationwide)Time Type:Full TimeCity:CHINOState:CAPosition Description: + Collaboration: Collaborates with Area/Operations Managers to ensure optimization of capacity and delivery management. Supports and collaborates with other functions at Walmart (for example, Human Resources, Maintenance, ICQA ) to achieve objectives. Coordinates with inbound/outbound counterparts and other shifts to ensure consistent and optimized processes. + Compliance and Quality Management: Develops and implements operational policies and procedures to ensure quality control standards are met. + Drives the execution of multiple business plans and projects + Ensures business needs are being met + Inbound Operations (Unload, Receive, Haul and Stock): Performs some or all inbound operations in a shift (see below) as required; also coordinates with leader of inbound operations on other shifts and with outbound operations leaders to ensure consistency of processes. Manages unloading, receiving, hauling, and stocking incoming inventory to avoid product back-ups for all shifts. Reviews and verifies incoming inventory reports from Area Managers and relays relevant findings to more senior leaders. + Outbound Operations (Pick, Pack and Ship): Performs some or all outbound operations in a shift (see below) as required; also coordinates with leader of outbound operations on other shifts and with inbound operations leaders to ensure consistency of processes. Oversees a team to ensure products are properly picked, packaged, and shipped out to customers for on-time delivery for a single shift. Manages the sorting of all products into customer-ordered amounts and ensures the accuracy of orders for a single shift. Manages the preparation and loading process to ensure efficient distribution for a single shift. Reviews and verifies outbound inventory reports from Area Managers and relays relevant findings to more senior leaders. + People Development: Builds and leads a team to execute on business area objectives. Coaches team members and provides feedback to enhance skills, knowledge, and work performance. Conducts performance and career development conversations. Mentors Area Managers and Operations Managers. + Performance Monitoring: Monitors performance within inbound or outbound operations for a single shift. Plans and manages budget to accommodate the needs of teams from multiple areas and achieve financial goals. Monitors team performance and productivity for multiple areas to ensure goals are achieved against key performance indicators and standards ; provides feedback to Area and Operations Managers. Recommends staffing and workload levels to achieve performance goals for multiple areas. + Process Improvement: Recommends instances where Lean methodologies and tools can be applied across multiple areas. Performs analysis and develops insights from data to identify operational issues or areas for improvement to multiple areas across either inbound or outbound within a single shift, coordinating across shifts for implementation . Additional Preferred Qualifications: + 2 years experience in developing and managing profit-and-loss statements and budgets, monitoring regulatory compliance, and analyzing financial/operational data. + 3 years' experience managing multiple functional areas within a warehouse or logistics network. + 4 years supervisory experience. + 5 years experience in supply chain operations or related field. + Master s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
