Auto req ID: 238299BR Job Description The Finance Manager will be responsible for key financial planning and analysis activities for the Holistic Cost Management (End-to-end Waste, Manufacturing and Logistics COE, Low-Cost Capital, PMO) and other teams within Global Operations (GO). This entails developing the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), period forecasts and reporting of variances, and developing and managing all Sector allocations for Horizontal billings including alignment and communications. In addition, the Finance Manager will also be responsible for developing financial processes and tools to provide visibility to spend, manage trade-offs, track cost-saving targets and evaluate contracts. In 2021 AOP, the scope totaled $51MM expense and $5MM capital. Additionally, the Finance Manager will also support global initiatives led by these GO teams to understand the financial impacts (e.g. one-time costs; cash flow and P&L benefits, headcount reduction, etc), work with Sectors/Functions on funding, and track key projects through completion. Accountabilities: Annual Operating Plan: Develop Annual Operating Plan (AOP) working with various cost center owners on the coming year's goals/agenda Manage bottoms-up build and trade-off process to meet overall AOP and Forecast goals Prepare and consolidate all Sector allocations for AOP and work with Sectors on alignment and providing BU level breakout as needed. Ensure Controls/Shared Services executes billings Prepare consolidated AOP including headcount & other submissions/decks to Corporate and Sectors including capital and expense Period Results & Forecasts: Work with cost center owners to manage period forecast expectations taking into account vacancies and other budget changes Prepare consolidated Global Ops period financial reports and forecasts including headcount & other offline submissions to Corporate including capital and expense Analyze period results and explain variances to Plan/Forecast; create a process to track actuals and forecasts and ensure all variances are reasonable Provide financial support to identify impact from global initiatives led by these GO teams one-time costs; cash flow and P&L benefits, headcount reduction, etc. Work with Sectors/Functions on funding for these key projects and track through completion Prepare period reporting, analyses, and executive summary decks for various leadership levels to discuss opportunities and budget trade-offs Provide insightful analysis of business results to senior management and perform ad-hoc analyses that lead to problem-solving and business improvement recommendations Work with Controls/Shared Services to ensure accuracy and completeness of entries, billings, and charges Ensure all expenditures are properly accounted for and in a timely manner, including cross charges to/from Sectors Work with IT, HR, NASS, GP, and Sectors to manage global project financials Other: Manage SAC/BPC for Global Ops, Global Security, and PGRE; ensure data reconciles to SAP Facilitate best practice sharing through development and implementation of process improvements or tools (e.g. RPA) Provide ad-hoc projects and analysis as requested Qualifications/Requirements 7-8 years of experience with Bachelors of Business Administration or similar required, MBA preferred Analytical and modeling skills with a sound financial understanding of lead/lag indicators and the ability to translate analytical findings into actionable solutions and processes Experience with PepsiCo financial processes (PepsiCo Strategic Plans, AOPs, Forecasting/ Budgeting, etc.) Excel and PowerPoint knowledge a must; SAP, SAC, and BPC knowledge preferred Strong interpersonal skills (verbal and written communications) and proven collaboration/teamwork/ influencing experiences requires working with many senior executives across multiple Sectors/ matrixed teams; able to function effectively in a team environment and gain the cooperation of individuals across the organization Ability to work independently and take ownership to drive progress; organized and capable of multi-tasking; results-oriented with the ability to initiate and lead projects to completion Knowledge in one or more key PepsiCo operating areas (e.g. Foods, Beverages, Transportation, GTM, etc.) Innovative thinker with a focus on continuous process improvement Differentiating Competencies Required: Strong communication and organizational skills Detail-oriented with the ability to see the bigger picture Strong work ethic Strong problem solving and analytical skills Ability to multi-task #LI-USA Relocation Eligible: Not Eligible for Relocation Job Type: Regular All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status, or disability status.
