Functional Description: PepsiCo is the only company with three major trademarks in carbonated soft drinks Pepsi, Mountain Dew, and Mist Twist. When it comes to non-carbonated soft drinks, we have world class equities across every category Aquafina in water; Pure Leaf and Brisk in ready-to-drink teas; AMP, Celsius, Rockstar in energy drinks; Gatorade in sports drinks and Starbucks products in ready-to-drink coffee. In addition to our core powerhouse brands and products, we are continually launching successful innovation and expanding our product portfolio. Examples of recent product launches include Bubly sparkling water, Mountain Dew Zero, Gatorade Zero, Pepsi Vanilla, Pure Leaf Herbals, and Starbucks Nitro. The Supply Chain Organization leads in the production and warehousing of products for the beverages division. The team seeks to drive efficiency in the production and storage of our products. Supply Chain Operations Associate Managers will be put into a 1218-month rotational program in which they will learn the Supply Chain function by having an immersive experience and gaining additional exposure through: varying assignments in Production, Warehouse, Maintenance, Quality, Planning, & Logistics. Once the rotations are complete, the SC Operations Associate Manager may be placed on a South Division Supply Chain team. Position is also relocation eligible. Responsibilities From the beginning of their career at PepsiCo, Supply Chain Associates (SC) are a part of a robust SC team that uses strategic insights to sell to some of our biggest customers. There will be six immersive rotations in which the Supply Chain Operations Associate Manager works directly with a functional team during critical parts of their business cycles. The Supply Chain Operations Associate manager will execute projects that develop high impact SC initiatives. The work requires an advanced analytical skillset to evaluate the customer and competitive landscape to promote SC growth and customer success. The career path for this position is based upon the PepsiCo Career Growth Model where employees are given opportunities to develop functional excellence, leadership capability, knowledge of the business, and gain a breadth of critical experiences across supply chain such as leading and developing frontline associates, developing, and implementing national projects, volume forecasting and planning, resource and cost planning and revenue management. These critical experiences can lead to the following Full-time roles: SC Ops Manager, Product Manager, Quality Control Manager, Maintenance Manager, and Planning Associate Manager. Qualifications Currently pursuing a Masters or MBA degree Experience having worked in CPG industry Demonstrated interest in pursuing career in Supply Chain Strong understanding of Supply Chain environment Prior Manufacturing/Warehousing, Logistics, strategy, or analytics experience Strong analytical skillset with ability to synthesize complex data from multiple data sources into simple fact-based insights Ability to influence, drive results and implement ideas in a dynamic and ambiguous environment Ability to identify areas of opportunity and offer meaningful recommendations Strong project management/project planning skillset demonstrated through previous relevant work experience and extracurricular involvement Strong attention to detail and time management skills with the ability to coordinate many tasks concurrently Proven ability to lead and influence team members through previous relevant work experience and extracurricular involvement Excellent relationship building, interpersonal, and negotiation skills with knowledge of and ability to influence stakeholders Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate within a matrix environment Exemplary oral and written communication skills with the ability to tell a story Results-orientated team player with strong problem-solving skills Ability to effectively manage conflict Minimum 2 years of work experience preferably in M&W or Supply Chain Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint Geographically flexible and willing to relocate Minimum Qualifications - Each candidate is expected to: Be completing their final year of graduate (Masters level) studies Hold a Masters (or MBA) degree prior to the intended full time start date This position is limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United States.
