The WW IBN Sales Strategy & Planning team focuses on driving growth, enhancing sales force productivity, and effectively running the business. We drive strategy, planning, operations and enablement initiatives in support of Ciscos multi-billion-dollar Intent Based Networking Sales business.

What You'll Do

Reporting to the Access GTM Strategy & Planning manager, this role will partner with our Access Sales leader, other S&P team members, and extended team to set priorities and strategy, drive transformational initiatives, run the business, and execute GTM programs. The successful candidate will also work closely with other IBN sales strategy & planning team members, global IBN sales leaders, various worldwide sales teams, IBN specialist teams, account teams, Business Units (engineering), marketing, channels, and other cross-functional organizations.

Key functional areas and experience in:

  • Understanding of Wireless and Switching business
  • Knowledge of HW and SW reporting, metrics, and pipeline
  • Cross organizational partnership and data mining collaboration
  • QBR and new year readiness insights and material preparation
  • Extensive knowledge of Cisco data sources such as Expertise in FinBI, CCW/CCW-R, CRBO, SFDC

Role & Responsibilities include:

  • Strategy & Planning: Understand Ciscos Access sales strategy, priorities, and go-to-market plans. Establish & clearly articulate sales plans to support the business; execute growth programs and initiatives; sales incentives; competitive programs; business intelligence to provide strategic insights & spur new programs; fiscal year planning.
  • Sales operations: run the business functions for sales specialist teams; forecasting; sales tools & processes; sales coverage models; QBRs; goaling; headcount & budget management; business metrics & reporting.
  • Cross-functional engagement & alignment: Drive cross organizational collaboration, alignment and execution around key strategic initiatives; operational rigor to ensure execution and impact. Forge strong relationships with BE, GEOs, CX, Finance, and Operations.
  • Various strategic initiatives, get well plans, pilot programs, etc. as required.
  • Trusted advisor. Be proactive. Challenge the status quo. Execute extremely well.

Who You Are;

  • Knowledge of Ciscos sales function; familiar with Cisco's field sales organizations, processes, and go-to-market ... speak the language of the field.
  • Experience with sales operations & planning functions or directly relevant experience
  • Consistent track record in cross-functional collaboration, establishing relationships and driving success in a matrixed environment
  • Outstanding communication & influence skills, experience presenting & interfacing with stakeholders at all levels, and conducting executive conversations
  • Must be comfortable in a fast paced, dynamic environment where you are empowered to make decisions and drive the business
  • Shown experience translating strategy into operational plans and leading through execution;
  • Strong program/project management skills; capable of taking a concept, building a plan and running the day to day tasks to deliver successful outcomes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; expert working with data & understanding the numbers
  • Curious and flexible, you enjoy variety and are willing to take on different roles/responsibilities as business needs evolve
  • A great teammate, you love a challenge, you've always got your teammate's back, and you're inspired working with others to achieve success.
  • Minimum BA/BS; MBA a plus.
  • 8+ years of sales, strategy/planning, finance or related experience
