The Global Compute & Cloud Sales Strategy & Planning team focuses on driving growth, enhancing sales force productivity, and effectively running the business.   We drive strategy/planning, operations and enablement initiatives in support of Ciscos multi-billion-dollar Compute & Cloud Sales business.

What You'll Do

You will be the lead sales S&P manager for the soon to be announced consumption offers for Data Center. This highly visible role will actively contribute by shaping strategy, building & executing operational plans, and driving transformation for the new DC consumption offers. You will engage with sales account teams and DC specialists, business units, channels, and other cross-functional organizations. 

Role & Responsibilities include: 

  • Strategy & Planning:  Understand Ciscos DC sales strategy, priorities, and go-to-market plans. Ensure that the consumption offers strategy and direction is aligned.
  • Blaze a trail: lead the sales transformation efforts around operationalizing the consumption offers
  • Have a pulse on the learning needs of the field then plan and execute enablement programs to meet the need
  • Translate learnings from early release(s) to improve rollouts of future iterations
  • Drive and manage key GTM initiatives and programs
  • Sales acceleration: field training programs; business scaling initiatives, deal acceleration programs; various events
  • Cross-functional engagement & alignment:   Drive cross organizational collaboration, alignment and execution around key strategic initiatives; operational rigor to ensure execution and impact. Forge strong relationships, build a virtual team win together
  • Trusted advisor.  Be proactive. Challenge the status quo.  Execute extremely well

Who You'll Work With

The successful candidate will work closely with the S&P team members, global data center sales leaders, various worldwide sales teams, DC specialist teams, account teams, Business Units (engineering), marketing, channels, and other cross-functional organizations.

Who You Are 

*5+ years in a related role (finance, marketing, business ops, others), strategy & planning experience a plus

*Experience with driving transformation in a large organization; experience with consumption models a plus

*Strong knowledge of Ciscos sales function; familiar with Cisco's field sales organizations, processes, and go-to-market ... speak the language of the field

*Strategic thinker, analytical in nature, you understand the numbers and are energized by solving problems

*Experience with cross-functional collaboration, building relationships and driving success in a matrixed environment

*Strong verbal & written communications skills; ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels

*Proven experience translating strategy into operational plans and executing

*Strong project management & organization skills; proactive; detailed oriented

*Curious and flexible, you enjoy variety and are willing to take on different roles/responsibilities as business needs evolve

*A team player. You love a challenge, you've always got your teammate's back, and you're inspired working with others to achieve success

*Tools proficiency:  Required:  Excel (PivotTables, etc.), PowerPoint (presentation building); Plus but not required: FINBI, Cisco Ready, SFDC
