As the Strategic Partnership Manager, you will serve as both an internal and external face of the Level2 product, focused on developing strategic relationships and projects with potential partners in UHC, Optum, OptumLabs, provider practices and other external strategic partners. You will be responsible for identifying potential partners based on the needs of the business, fostering relationships, generating opportunities for collaboration and working with the broader team to integrate opportunities into the Level2 product offering. The Strategic Partnership Manager is a key role on the product team.

Responsibilities:

    ""
  • Pitch Level2 value proposition and partnership opportunity to provider practices and other potential partners as determined by strategic priorities
  • ""
  • Manage relationships with external provider practices and other partners; serve as the Level2 point of contact to drive engagement and improved outcomes
  • ""
  • Work with senior management to convene and manage the Expert Advisory Panel made up of external thought leaders in strategically significant disciplines
  • ""
  • Create and manage a landscape map of potential partners in UHC, Optum, OptumLabs and externally
  • ""
  • Develop a deep understanding of competitors in adjacent spaces and how their value propositions compare to Level2s
  • ""
  • Work collaboratively with the broader product team to identify strategic intersections with potential partners, develop positioning and clarify objectives
  • ""
  • Proactively offer input and recommendations to broader product team on opportunities to partner instead of building
  • ""
  • Manage provider and enterprise program reporting efforts collaborating with reporting and insights team to build reports/dashboards and read-out to internal and external stakeholders
  • ""
  • Activate existing UHC and Optum programs to serve Level2 membership more deeply
  • ""
  • Create and execute a strategic partnership plan that advances key business value levers
  • ""
  • Foster strong relationships with potential partners, frequently identifying new opportunities to bring new value to both sides
  • ""
  • Support both short and long-term opportunities using analysis
  • ""
  • Serve as external voice of Level2 product value story, including designing and delivering routine value reporting to key partners
  • ""
  • Triage and manage inbound requests for partnership
  • ""
  • Plan and manage partner integrations, including internal and external training and developing technical requirements
  • ""
  • Seek and pilot creative solutions for partnership operating within current business and technical constraints
  • ""
  • Provide feedback to senior management on strategy, deployment and product based on partner needs
  • ""
  • Ensure accountability of operations and product teams to meet partner expectations

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree required
  • ""
  • 4+ years of experience in product management, business strategy, program management, account management or business development
  • ""
  • 2+ years working in a health care setting (clinical or business capacity)

  • Proven ability to handle and resolve complex stakeholder issues
  • ""
  • Demonstrated ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases that can be clearly and easily communicated
  • ""
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • ""
  • Excellent relationship development skills, with comfort doing initial outreach and finding connection points
