Responsibilities

LANDMARK AOS has an opening for a Senior Acquisition Consultant to provide Systems Engineering and Technical Advice (SETA) services to a rapidly expanding government customer. The customer requires these services in order to develop and acquire next generation architectures to include hardware and software solutions.

The Senior Acquisition Consultant will support the Program Office in acquisition and delivery of mission critical systems comprised of both hardware and software. The selected candidate will be a member of a team of exceptional subject matter experts (SMEs) responsible for the planning, development and execution of new acquisitions, developing and executing Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and providing technical analysis relating to acquisitions.The Senior Acquisition Consultant will be responsible for the following:

  • Developing and documenting acquisition strategies, plans, Statements of Work (SOW) and other documents in support of new acquisitions and ECPs to current contracts
  • Guiding acquisitions program through agency governance process to include identification of milestones and preparations for these milestones.
  • Manage oversight of Systems Engineering Processes and artifacts in the context of customer and federal guidance.
  • Assist government leadership in coordination and collaboration activities related to ongoing and anticipated acquisitions for both internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors and fourteen (14) years or more experience; Masters and twelve (12) years or more experience; PhD and nine (9) years or more experience.

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph
  • Bachelors degree from an accredited institution
  • Demonstrated ability to set priorities and succeed in a dynamic work environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate, facilitate and lead in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Demonstrated ability to respond quickly to customer and other Requests for Information (RFI)
  • Certificate in Program Management and/or Systems Engineering
  • Experience in system acquisitions over $100 Million
