Primary Responsibilities:

  • Expand the existing managed care network penetration for existing customers
  • ""
  • Develop and monitor client financial performance including renewal planning, negotiation, and profitability levels
  • ""
  • Establish and maintain strong and appropriate relationships with customers and consultants; ensure Senior Manager has customer specific high level / board level decision making contacts
  • ""
  • Direct strategic, customer specific initiatives, which deliver value added services through the execution of client specific business plans
  • ""
  • Demonstrate marketing and technical expertise through: Client, broker and consultant meetings. Assessment of approach, resources, and contacts needed to complete RFPs
  • ""
  • Preparation for and participation in, new business site visits and finalist presentations. Provide feedback to management on market trends as represented by our clients
  • ""
  • Coordinate and influence superior customer service delivery developing and maintaining strong intercompany relationships
  • ""
  • Reports to the VP of Sales and Account Management, Public Sector, Labor and Trust
  • ""
  • Maintain a high level of healthcare industry knowledge as well as customer's industry
  • ""
  • The ongoing maintenance, communication and collection of customers fee revenue and insured premiums (DSO) in collaboration with finance and collections department
  • ""
  • Recognized as a subject matter expert for products, service and technology aspects
  • ""
  • Player Coach role for the health plan having the primary responsibility for the strategy for a book of business

Required Qualifications:

    ""
  • Bachelor's degree or 10+ years relevant sales experience
  • ""
  • 10+ years of experience using of data analysis to drive change
  • ""
  • 10+ years of experience meeting sales / retention goals
  • ""
  • 10+ years of experience in customer relationships
  • ""
  • 10+ years of experience of leading effective teams
  • ""
  • 5+ years proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite to include Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • ""
  • Experience with Public Sector / Municipality / Union sales retention
  • ""
  • Sales insurance license maintained by law
  • ""
  • Maintains a valid drivers license
  • ""
  • Willingness to travel
  • "
