In this role, you will design and deploy enterprise-wide cloud-based data processing application development. You will have a working knowledge of cloud and other architecture disciplines including application, database, and infrastructure. You will provide subject matter expertise to internal technology teams and the InfoSec organization. In addition, support a research and development function within your team to explore new and innovative technology solutions, provide engineering studies and make recommendation to enhance Cloud platform.

Ideally, you will have a Bachelors in Engineering or a Bachelors in technology and a Masters in Computer Application, Computer Science, Engineering or related fields with 6+ years of industry experience including 4+ years of DevOps experience onpublic cloud such as AWS or Google. You will have strong experience in building data engineering solutions and production-ready systems on modern data platforms such as Snowflake, Kafka and AWS data solutions. You will have 5+ years of experience in ETL/ELT development in Business Intelligence/Data integration project. You will have 5+ years of experience working with Talend or other ETL issues. You will have strong experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes and drive continuous process improvements. You will have expertise with industry standard data pipeline and processing tools (Spark, AWS, EMR, Hadoop) and cloud data warehousing (Snowflake/Big query). You will have experience with Infrastructure as a code, CI/CD Pipelines, Server Infrastructure, virtualization and maintaining high availability production systems. working knowledge of Big Data Technologies (Spark, Kafka, HBase, etc.), ELK, Kibana, Prometheus, Grafana/Graphite. Experience in Terraform automation/orchestration is desired. In addition, you will have strong development skills in PowerShell and/or Python.

Annual base salary gross: $71,192.00 - $121,476.00. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high end of the Western Union salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as candidates qualifications, skills, competencies and proficiency for the role. The base salary is one component of Western Unions total compensation package for employees.
