*What you'll do...*
* Assumes the responsibilities of a Technical Architect II plus:
* Enterprise wide architect, responsible for complete overall solutions delivered.
* Serves as one of the primary technical leaders for the IS Division. Undertakes the most complex IT projects involving multiple disciplines or layers, some of which impact multiple business units.
* Actively participates in overall leadership of the company and makes final technical recommendations to Senior peers.
* Establishes partnerships in the IS community abroad.
* Actively monitor the competitive landscape for new players and participates in industry forums, technical conferences and standards groups as the technical leader for the company.
* Be the key liaison with external business partners supporting R&D efforts and ensure strategic partners deliver on commitments and key milestones.
* Represents Information Systems during complex contract negotiations

*What you'll need...*
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Management Information Systems preferred or related work experience.
* Minimum 15 years of experience across multiple technology areas with at least the last 5 years within the Financial domain. International experience a huge plus. Prior experience working in a High performance and low latency environment a huge plus
* Prior experience working on large transformation initiatives a huge plus, Wealth Management experience a huge plus. Designing large scale enterprise solutions spanning across multiple cloud vendors especially Sales Force cloud, Money Guide Pro / eMoney, Mulesoft, Informatica, public cloud environments like Azure / AWS etc.
* Must be able to design and develop IT architecture solutions to support firm business strategies.
* Must be able to solve technical challenges in critical situations that require immediate resolution.
* Researches requirements to determine system feasibility, costs, business benefits, or functional requirements.
* Proficient in leading IS problem solving
* Expert in our system and business operations.
* Modern knowledge across multiple IS disciplines including but not limited to Network, Mainframes, Storage, relational databases and Web development.
* Specific modern knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP, Standard IBM products (Z/OS, CICS and DB2), Standard Microsoft products (Vista, XP, Exchange, Office, Outlook), J2EE, Java, Oracle and Linux.
* Participates in discovering talent both organically and externally.
* Ability to influence all levels in a matrixed organization
* Establish and maintain effective relationships across departments, business areas, and vendors. Excellent interpersonal skills. Seen as credible and trustworthy.
* Ability to multi-task and participate in multiple large and complex efforts or projects.
* Ensure prudent use of the firms financial resources.
* Knowledge of brokerage or financial company processes.
* Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness in work.
* Embraces change and consider different approaches to issues.
* Takes personal responsibility to improve processes and systems.
* Strong understanding of project management concepts.
* Recognize opportunities to enhance revenues and/or contain/reduce costs.
