What You'll Do

As a Senior Software Engineer in the Security Policy Access group (SPA) business unit, you will take part in the development of Ciscos next generation software security portfolio for enterprise and hybrid-cloud networks.

You will work with state of the art technologies, explore, craft and implement the market leading security policy management platform that carries out secure access to network resources.

You will have to utilize different engineering skills to work on full development cycle, including architecting, designing, coding and owning software to improve the performance, availability, and scalability of our offerings.

Who You Are

At minimum, we require:

  • 5+ years of confirmed experience in software development in Java, C++, Golang or Python.
  • Real world experience in developing and operating a cloud service on AWS, Azure or Google cloud.
  • Deep knowledge and hands on experience with Docker containers, microservices, cloud native orchestration and deployment.
  • Teammate, proactive and productive. Highly dedicated and motivated person. Pedantic in the way code should be written and structured.
  • Very good logic and problem solving capabilities. Ability to study new material quickly and independently.
  • Ability to ''dive'' into sophisticated existing code and gain new domain expertise.
  • Excellent English.
  • Ownership and interpersonal skills are key factors for success.
