This Sr. Reporting Analyst position reports to the Health Plan Assoc Director of Reporting and is an individual contributor role responsible for supporting various analytical aspects of our Virginia Medicaid Health Plan.

""

We are seeking strong, data-minded team members to assist in new product implementation and ongoing operational oversight. This position will be responsible for using data to help develop, execute, monitor, and improve compliance with contractual expectations and end-to-end business processes.

""

Primary Responsibilities:

    ""
  • Create/monitor reports and data extracts to monitor, control and improve end-to-end business processes and ensure contractual compliance
  • ""
  • Lead data/reporting design subgroups in support of report and process improvement activities
  • ""
  • Use data to diagnose process improvement opportunities and develop solutions using principles of process excellence and related tools
  • ""
  • Assist in creating quality reporting, analysis and audits used in developing plans and programs to support continuous quality improvement (using applicable tools)
  • ""
  • Assist in the creation, implementation, and evaluation of Total Quality Management (TQM) programs
  • "

Required Qualifications:

    ""
  • 3+ years of experience building and executing data pulls using SQL and/or other BI reporting tools; with demonstrated experience manipulating/combining data from multiple sources to provide actionable information
  • ""
  • 1+ years of experience with documenting processes and practices, often in accepted project methodology artifacts, while effectively prioritizing multiple tasks, priorities, projects, and deadlines
  • ""
  • Intermediate level of proficiency with PC-based software programs and automated database management systems required (Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
  • ""
  • Live within commutable distance to Richmond, VA
  • "

Preferred Qualifications:

    ""
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, Health Administration, related field, or equivalent work experience
  • ""
  • 3+ years of MS Project, Access, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Visio
  • ""
  • 3+ years of experience in healthcare operations data/financial analysis
  • ""
  • Healthcare Industry experience
  • ""
  • Medicaid, CHIP, long term care and/or government health plan experience
  • ""
  • Intermediate to expert level proficiency in Oracle and SQL
