**ROLE SUMMARY**



The Andover Site Technical Services group is seeking a highly motivated individual for a Sr Project Specialist Technology Transfer position in the Technology Transfer and Process Validation group. This position requires the incumbent to provide project leadership and oversight on technology transfer and validation of biologics drug substance manufacturing processes under general direction of the Manager. Projects to be supported by the incumbent include of early to late phase clinical trial material manufacturing as well as the transfer of commercial manufacturing between manufacturing facilities involving internal and partner manufacturing sites. The incumbent will help lead cross-functional teams responsible for the planning and execution of drug substance manufacturing technology transfer, production campaign preparation, facility readiness, post-campaign product disposition, and knowledge management.



**ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES**



+ Under general direction of the manager, lead cross-functionaland cross organizational teams in technology transfers from the donating organization to Andover based large-scale mammalian-cell manufacturing facilities and lead the project team in developing a project and technology transfer strategy and plan to enable drug substance manufacturing campaigns.

+ Track project timeline and lead technology transfer teams in achieving all key project deliverables and milestones.

+ With project team, track project areas of risk management, including the assessment, communication, and mitigation of risks associated with the fulfillment of project commitments and plan-of-record expectations

+ Report project status to site integrated business planning process

+ Responsible for project stakeholder management for both internal and external stakeholders. Key aspect of this role involves representing projects at relevant site and network governance forums as well as the appropriate product teams within both Pfizer Global Supply and Pfizer Pharmaceutical Sciences as needed



**BASIC QUALIFICATIONS**



+ BS in Science or Chemical Engineering with minimum 3 years of experience

+ The ideal candidate should possess knowledge or experience in GMP biologics drug substance production and logistics.

+ Candidate must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills.



**PREFERRED** **QUALIFICATIONS**



+ Formal training in project management and prior project management experience is preferred.



**PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS**



Ability to perform mathematical calculations, scientific computation, and complex data analysis



**NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS**



Travel unlikely but may be necessary
