We€™re looking for a Product Manager the help guide us towards this ambitious vision. The ideal candidate should be passionate about bridging the gap between business requirements and technical products, creative and able to look at problems in new ways, proficient in value proposition design, experienced in market research, have outstanding product management skills, demonstrable go-to-market execution of new product launches, and understand economics applicable to an ecommerce environment. They are comfortable interacting with executive stakeholders, including international teams, communicating bold vision, and dealing with ambiguity. They should be entrepreneurial. The Sr. Product Manager should be able to interact with and influence multiple teams, in multiple disciplines, across the Amazon organization, including a wide variety of technical teams.

In this role, you will be in charge of:

* Partnering with customers and business stakeholders in Sales/Marketing/Professional Services to develop end to end requirements.
* Engaging with internal and external tax teams to define the requirements necessary to support all of our business customers' regulatory needs.
* Deeply integrating with technical teams across Amazon to define the enhancements needed to current services.
* Creating the product strategy that will include driving enhancements and building the backbone technology.
* Communicating with key stakeholders across a diverse organization of Sales, Marketing, UX, and the technology teams that support them.

* Aware of market trends, customer needs, and build business cases for new product opportunities.
* Manage product lifecycle from ideation through commercialization. Build Annual roadmap and multi-year vision
* Be a smart, hard-working, and creative person who loves products, customer experience, loves solving difficult problems, and "getting it done."
* Be customer obsessed
* Be comfortable collaborating and influencing team members including commercial, sourcing, legal, patent, social compliance and product compliance.
* Be responsible for building and executing on new initiatives and roadmaps each year.
* Partner with international business teams to launch products globally.
* Have the technical aptitude to quickly grasp technical issues and communicate directly with technical teams.

Key job responsibilities
1. Own the project plan for a multi-country launch of AB.
2. Be a key contributor to the technical vision which enables us to go-faster with international expansion.
3. Manage int'l expansion work across AB teams in Seattle, Austin, Madrid and Hyderabad.
4. Build mechanisms to enable our go-faster initiatives.
5. Identify, track and resolve internal and external challenges and roadblocks of all kinds.
6. Present well-reasoned and data-driven solution proposals in both verbal and written form to gain support for and prioritize your recommendatoins and deliver results.
7. Communicate clearly and concisely with executives, business and technology teams.
8. Work closely with Managers and Developers to deliver results frugally and effectively.

About the team
The Amazon Business International Expansion (ABIX) team is a is a new, global, multi-discipline team, with the charter to expand AB to new international marketplaces. We don€™t follow the traditional launch plans, but strive to build strategies and identify opportunities that move us faster by taking on multiple marketplaces simultaneously and rapidly adopting and building new technology. Our charter sets us up for challenges with broad scope. We€™ll touch every feature of AB and essentially every aspect of the eCommerce experience. We will move fast, try new things, make mistakes, learn, adapt, and grow. Innovation will be a daily activity as opposed to a once-in-a-while diversion. Along the way, we're going to face seemingly impossible challenges. So, bring your imagination, capacity for new insights, and a healthy disregard for the impossible.


1. Experience with end to end global product delivery
2. 6+ years of experience in product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology
3. Experience with multi-year feature delivery and making tradeoffs of a product
4. Bachelor's Degree
5. Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
6. Experience overseeing roadmap strategy and definition
7. Experience owning and driving a product with a dedicated P&L


1. MBA preferred
2. Experience in B2B and related tax issues
3. Ability to manage multiple projects - work prioritization, planning and task delegation
4. Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results on technical projects
5. Exceptional communication, analytical and problem solving skills
6. Knowledge of Ecommerce
7. Experience within a consumer goods/retail company
