The Business Entity

Ciscos Global Offer Acceleration and License Simplification (GOALS), is responsible for transforming Cisco's software and solutions business; including driving new offers, solutions, buying programs, companywide policies, and business capabilities for use across all Cisco product lines and markets.

The Team

The Enterprise Agreement (EA) Program team within GOALS, designs and supports high value Software buying programs that are highly transformational and are driving increased value into Ciscos long term customer relationships. The team is also inspiring change within Cisco across all aspects of the offer lifecycle including purchasing, fulfillment, accounting, sales, compensation, development, and other customer lifecycle activities. In support of our programs, the team establishes policy, process design and defines business requirements for the enterprise Software buying programs. A standardized but evolving monetization framework underpins this work, with team members that work closely with offer, services and buying model product managers, the GOALS policy team, IT, Operations, Legal and Tax organizations across the company.

Who Youll Work With

In this position, you will be part of a dynamic team that is helping to transform Cisco to a more software-centric company. You will work with a multitude of organizations giving you a wide breadth of all that Cisco has to offer. You will partner with key leaders in the GOALS and work closely with Cisco Operations teams, Sales, BEs, Finance and many other multi-functional teams. You will also have the opportunity to develop and influence internal and external communications and strategic change management.

You will also ensure corporate established policies and processes are followed, establishing new processes and policies where needed.

Your strong facilitation and interpersonal skills enable you to work effectively in a matrix environment.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Product Management responsibility to scale customer and channel post-sales process and improve overall program experience of Ciscos Enterprise Agreement monetization platform.
  • Drive Enterprise Agreement process and tool requirements to improve the customer experience, from submission to launch.
  • Understand and support the product offer structure, pricing, monetization model and global deployment approach.
  • Work across relevant orgs to drive scale of the Enterprise Agreement True Forward process across relevant pricing quoting and bookings systems, defining any new policies, processes or business requirements needing implementation as part of this process.
  • Define and drive build out of the support fulfillment and entitlement strategy for the Enterprise Agreement. Partner across the customer experience, global channel, sales and other relevant organizations to do this.
  • Support definition of the process and structure of the various product and program ordering guides and sales materials for the Enterprise Agreement.
  • Define process, policies and rules for the post sales life cycle process for both current and new customers, as well as for pure play SW, cloud and SW/HW/cloud combined offer elements.
  • Support definition of all other parts of offer or solution lifecycle including in term changes and periodic adjustments in term offer evolution, end of term management and underlying product or service end of life management.
  • Support as needed the sales ops, marketing and partner functions to ensure ops processes are understood. Ensure the processes align appropriately to all phases of the sales, marketing and partner management lifecycles.
  • Work with offer management and the compensation organization to ensure that sales strategy and sales compensation are supported by post sales data and metrics.

Your Experience

  • Experience managing product and offer definition, operational requirements, policy definition and lifecycle management.
  • Thorough knowledge of software business dynamics and software buying models.
  • A plus if you have :
  • Knowledge of the networking and datacenter HW business, plus the nuances of SW enabled HW businesses.
  • Experience and understanding of cloud products and their operating model, along with approach to aligning combined on premises, cloud and HW enabled hybrid models.
  • Working experience with product and offer enablement into sales GTM models and process.
  • Strong analytical, design and documentation skills.
  • Ability to operate in a fast moving, distributed cross functional team.
  • Knowledge of global business operations, practices and issues.
  • Prior Cisco experience a plus
