The Sr/Product Manager, EAP/Worklife will be accountable for Development and Management and the P&L for products that span across EAP/Worklife services within the Global Optum Prevention business. The Product Manager is a leadership role responsible for driving and executing the product strategy, engagement and oversight during product development to ensure alignment against strategy and specifications, product management post-deployment (client reporting, audits, deals, pricing, exception management, RFPs, etc.) and P&L performance to delivers effective EAP/Worklife solutions, along with other parts of the enterprise and outside partners. This position will report to the Senior Director Product and will collaborate with Growth and market teams to understand product configuration requirements to translate into standard product features that minimizes customization and ensures configurable, scalable product standards are brought to market. This position will have Global responsibility.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Productmanagement and performance management accountability for EAP Product Portfolio
  • Product accountability that enables sustainable business growth, improves competitive position and optimizes product performance to meet customer and market needs
  • Responsible for product development prioritization, oversight and securing capital and resources to enable product enhancements that support product growth goals, competitiveness and profitability
  • Accountable for post-deployment product management deliverables including (client reporting, audits, deals, pricing, exception management, RFPs, etc.)
  • Interface with sales, growth and market leaders to understand new market configuration requirements and translate customization into new features and standards for prioritization on the product development roadmap
  • Partner with operations team to identify and execute on improvement to drive efficiency and differentiation
  • Serve as the thought leader and subject matter expert for the EAP/Worklife product portfolio
  • Integrating digital delivery channels with phone/in-person products
  • Creating/packaging solutions for specific verticals that deliver high penetration
  • Portfolio rationalization
  • Product management, monitoring of EAP product portfolio
  • Documentation management and maintenance of product portfolio

Required Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience required
  • Understanding of consumer software products, including a robust understanding of acquisition, usage, and retention funnels
  • 5+ years' experience within healthcare space, preferably product
  • If you need to enter a work site for any reason, you will be required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or a similar UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener. Employees must comply with any state and local masking orders. In addition, when in a UnitedHealth Group building, employees are expected to wear a mask in areas where physical distancing cannot be attained

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience leading product in the EAP and Well-being spaces
  • Advance degree
  • Previous experience leading international products
  • Previous experience delivering health care services product in Medical and Medicare markets
